Thank you for chosing the BBC series and not the movie! The movie was fine, but it just doesn't beat the BBC original ^^ Plus, no one but Colin Firth can pull off that amazing, subtly adoring look that you see at 01:53! I always loved that one look. ^^

Yes, yes! I must agree with you that the A&E/BBC version of P&P is THE definitive version, far superior to the movie. i cry every time i hear this song and the time i watch this verison of pride and prejudice i cried. i prefer the 2005 version, but this one is AWESOME!! i think, personally,, that this Elizabeth fits it better than Kiera..they are so close to being tied, but i think this one is MUCH PRETTIER :D

I really, really love how you chose this song to go with Pride and Prejudice. This 1995 version of P&P is my favorite. Colin Firth is such a great actor! The girl who plays Lizzie is really good too.
