@jecb9 I have 3/8 lines and valves but i've had a valve block made up as i didn't want my car slamming on the ground. i've ha the bags for over 2 years and have had no problems with them, i've got mates who are running 3/8 lines and have bent the frames in their cars and are running into heaps of problems because of the quick bags.

nice. Only thing that put me off air bags is that bloody compressor sound and I want a soft ride. I read that if I have the bags raised the ride is actually not as soft as a springs which makes sense. Also wanted the airbags so when I park up I can drop it on its ass lol.

19's will look real nice cos you will still be able to go fairly low. I'd say they will scrub out in the rear when u lay it on the ground though.

FYI: At the moment (with rolled guards) if i didnt have the difilippo exhaust i would be able to drive it in a straight line without tyres scrubbing out.

I guess it's a really practical way to lower your car....super low and when you get to a driveway or speedbump just pump them up.

But I've always wondered how they'd affect your handling...are they all show or do they handle like FE2?

They handle way better than i thought too. Its stiffer than FE2 but a softer ride than lowering the car with springs.

if you look through previous posts i have mentioned what the costs were.

is the rest of the car standard? it was then but now ive got pacemaker 4-1 extractors and a difilippo twin 2 and 1/2 inch exhaust with twin high flow cats and no rear muffler (it was too quiet hehe).

wheels are on the way but am shattered cos the car won't be able to go as low as it can with the current tandard 18's compared to 20" wheels.

when fully deflated the exhaust sits on the ground so i cant drive it anywhere but before i had the exhaust the car would sit on the bump stops and i would have no suspension

handling is a bit stiffer than riding on normal gas struts. when im in town i have it as low as it can go while driving. but once on the highhway on big trips i jack it up to save tyres.

When the bags go fast it can eventually stretch the frame and chasis of the car, not a whole lot but i want to keep the car for a while and not have to deal with that.

I purposely got a valve block made so they go slower, i dont have them for show.

There just a practicle mod that allows me to drive low as fuk in town or high enough on the highway the get even tyre wear :)

I know what spoilers do i work in an engineering company that does suspension and aero work for holden as a project/design engineer.

Unless your thinking of doing say, over 250 km/h, they are just for show. No one i know who can afford an SS is immature enough to drive that fast.
