  • I love that shaking after you say KA-POW xD

  • This is actually far more optimistic than the original song. Way to go. :D

  • AMEN TO THAT !!!

  • lol I love this song. It is catchy.

  • Great song. I've added this to my "Playlist" of "Atheist Songs".

  • lol fucking hellarious

  • "There is no God, this I know, for common sense has told me so." So funny.

  • I've got no problem with you not believing in god or anything like that, but criticism isn't going to help anyone.

  • @harrisonveachbarrett Right, critical thinking has never helped any one. How dare I consider using my brain to communicate flaws in religion! Shame on me for thinking and then conveying those thoughts.

  • @harrisonveachbarrett I've got no problem with you believing in god or anything like that, but spreading your delusion isn't going to help anyone.

  • @BlueAvantiGuy yes it is

  • @harrisonveachbarrett Criticism of religion often helps those wishing to break free of the bonds of dogmatic indoctrination by introducing new and different perspectives for them to consider. CompletelyLovely is a bright light among a world of dim bulbs and she can criticize, sing, post videos and just be downright awesome all she likes.

  • @harrisonveachbarrett Really criticism does not help? Are you sure? In athletics form and technique are criticized, in art it is the same. If no one critiques the way you do something you do not improve. Some people are just too sensitive.

  • @harrisonveachbarrett Since when does criticism not help anything? lol...

  • Judging by alot of the comments below, this song has cirtainly helped to comfort alot of people in their ignorance. However even though it may have helped to callous some convictions, doesant change the fact that we all will still be giving an account of our lives one day, and its wisdom to prepare for that day.

  • lol, I sometimes find myself composing stuff like this in my head.

  • This is your best video yet. Three thumbs up!

  • (clap)(clap)(clap)(clap)(clap)

  • I love you

  • I don't understand why you can't hate something that doesn't exist.

  • @ikt123

Because it doesn't exist. In the words of completelylovely, I'm sorry your brain doesn't work well enough to process this information

  • @diglightdig

    Hate:

Hatred (or hate) is a deep and emotional extreme dislike, directed against a certain object or class of objects.

An object: "anything that may be apprehended intellectually: objects of thought. "

What is god? Did you say a delusion? a thought? an idea? what are those? Things that exist.

I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying. - Oscar Wilde

btw try and make yourself look less of an asshole next time thanks.

  • @ikt123

"btw try and make yourself look less of an asshole next time thanks."

If I'm an asshole, the maker of this video and you are also. So full of yourselves and what you think is the truth. You leave a comment that is a dig towards me and get upset when a response is given. typical

  • @diglightdig Let me get this straight:

I ask why you can't hate something which doesn't exist

    You respond by insulting me

    I counter

You flail about with a non-response.

Here's a thought: If you don't have an argument, don't start one.

  • @ikt123

Apparently your brain isn't functioning properly because I didn't start an argument. But you did. I made a comment out of defense, not to argue. It is impossible to argue with an atheist because they don't respect believers. Your argument consist of one thing...God isn't visible, prove He exists! You have an "appeal to ignorance."

  • @diglightdig wut

    "they don't respect believers"

I respect believers, I don't respect the belief.

Get it? Hate the sin not the sinner? l-o-l.

"Your argument consist of one thing"

I have many arguments, specifically (I assume you're christian): lack of evidence and evidence against, multiple-religion problem, problem of evil, absurdity, absolute morals are inane, god of the gaps, reason vs faith, who created god?, occam's razor, locality heavily impacting on belief, and more!

    :-)

  • @ikt123

    I think you meant "what"...

Don't assume, you know what that does...

Evidence of God is all around you...multiple religions but the same goal...the absurdity is not seeing that evil causes lack of absolute morals...God of the gaps? He remains constant...reason and faith are possible to people who think outside the box...if anyone created God, it will not be known until you are able to ask Him face to face...occam's razor is just another crutch of the atheist non-belief...dizzy yet?

  • @diglightdig No because you just attempted to major philosophy in 1 paragraph and failed on every point. If this is the best you can do you're going to need to learn a lot more.

Also no I said "wut" for a reason:

"A typed version of the word "what", for use in response to things that are too ridiculous, retarded or out-of-the-blue to deserve a regular, correctly spelled inquiry. Great for Youtube conversations."

Anyway have fun, I'm out of here.

  • @ikt123

there you go assuming that I attempted to major philosphy in one sentence. My response must have struck a nerve. FYI, I attempt to learn something new every single day. For someone like you that knows everything that may be hard to understand.

If youtube conversations are so retarded, then why contribute to them? I would think a person of your intelligence would have better things to do than get on childish youtube and tell people how stupid and retarded they are.

  • @diglightdig I'm not assuming you've attempted major philosophy in one sentence, I'm saying you are. Each of my arguments has a lot of thought and debate behind it, you attempted to shortcut those and just replaced it with your 3 word non-answers.

"occam's razor is just another crutch of the atheist non-belief"

what a load of crap. No thought went into that sentence at all and you expect me to be dizzy at your amazing 2-bit arguments? not gonna happen.

  • @ikt123

Never expected you to be dizzy because I know that you know everything. You have called me out and exposed the utter idiot I am. Thank you so very much, now I can live the rest of my life knowing I am full of shit. I now see that no matter what I say you will always have some kind of response that shows your ignorance.

  • @diglightdig "You have called me out and exposed the utter idiot I am."

You're on the right track, you're just getting what a lot of us got when we were younger, how could I be so stupid to believe in god? ... but everyone comes to atheism at a different time, what's important is that you're here!

    Google for:

    Iron chariots

    Talkorigins

Almost all of the main arguments for god/Christianity have been defeated ages ago, and it's confirmation bias that keeps religious people going. Have fun. :)

  • @ikt123

Why do you always repeat what I say??? It's so annoying.

When you return from a blackhole, I might understand your disrespect for God. (even though you don't believe in Him)

  • @diglightdig Because I am responding to a specific section of your response, not the full thing.

What does 'when you return from a blackhole' mean? Sounds like gibberish.

  • @ikt123

I was being sarcastic when I asked "Why do you always repeat what I say???", even though it really is annoying.

Blackhole you ask? For someone who relies on science for your platform I'm disappointed. Look up a "blackhole in space" and see what I'm talking about.

  • @diglightdig Yeah that's what I was referencing, how does one 'return' from an inescapable void, where forces are so strong even light cannot escape?

I don't really disrespect god since I'm a huge fan of the Invisible Pink Unicorn (who is god), I don't respect Yahweh, the god that acts like a brain dead, racist, sexist, homophobic, middle eastern, idiot. Although he was created in the middle of the bronze age by middle eastern men, that might explain it...

  • @ikt123

An inescapable void that isn't necessarily real. No one can get close enough to prove they really exist. It's all theoretical.

  • @diglightdig I have no idea what this has to do with anything.

  • @ikt123

A blackhole hasn't been proven to exist because no one can get close enough to prove it does exist without dying. Sounds alot like the God that doesn't exist in your mind.

  • @diglightdig Black holes are proven and inferred by its interaction with matter and light. Same thing goes for exoplanets. Our telescopes can't see them but we know they exist by the gravitational effects it produces. God not only is non existant in our minds but is most likely non existant in reality.

  • @JAEKIM10

Blackholes are a contradiction for a an atheist.

  • @diglightdig Do you pride yourself in stating bullshit? I just explained to you why they're not a contradiction for atheists. Atheists don't beleive in god because there isn't any evidence for god. There's very strong evidence for blackholes- their interactions with light and matter.

  • @JAEKIM10

Do you pride yourself in being inconsiderate? I didn't ask for your interjection in my comments with @ikt123. Have you even seen this interaction of light and matter with a blackhole? If you haven't, then you are contradicting yourself because you are believing in something you have not seen. Human life is evidence of God.

  • @diglightdig Your comparison might be actually valid if there was scientific proof for God, but there isn't. No scientist has ever formulated a God hypothesis and backed it up with evidence nor was such a thing ever peer reviewed and attempted to be falsified. Such things have been done for black holes and exoplanets and in some ways, are actually still being done. Oh and here, any comment can be subject to a reply from anyone so I'm not being inconsiderate for correcting your nonsense

  • @JAEKIM10

So because a "scientist" has formulated some number sequence and written it down, it's valid in your mind. Nonsense. Things written in the Bible were written well before they actually happened, but that's not good enough for you? Hmmm. Science continues to validate and then disprove. God remains constant. There are also plenty of scientist's that believe in the existence of God. Even though it is Youtube, it's still impolite to interject without asking. It's called etiquette.

  • @diglightdig lmao so everytime someone replies to a youtube comment, one has to first ask if he/she can weigh in? That's etiquette? Well you're alone on that one cuz no one does that. And there's a whole philosophy of science and epistemological concepts that grounds the scientific community and scientific facts. There's none for the religious community.A Hindu says this and a Muslim says different and christians say different. Thats it. No proof, no tests, just pure speculations.no credibility

  • @JAEKIM10

Just because "everyone" chimes in their 2 cents doesn't make it right. You're attitude towards this shows your lack of respect. But I guess it makes sense because you hold credence in a group of philosophers. How about the fact that the number of people that believe in God outweigh the number people that don't. The radical differences in religion are instrumented by evil. Quit putting your spin on what I say. Stop thinking in black and white.

  • @diglightdig i see you're not a deep thinker. Etiquette is not an objective truth. It is subjective to each person or each culture/group of people. However, the existence of something in reality is an objective truth, so you can't appeal to the majority without commiting the fallacy of ad populum. The difference in religions are purely speculations from different parties.

  • @JAEKIM10

Sugar coat religion and it's radical differences all you like. God has been made something trivial by men and woman throughout the ages and continues to be mocked. You are so full of yourself and your superior philosophical thinking to assume that so many people do not have the minds to think for themselves. And that so many people only believe in God because so many others do. I will agree with you on the etiquette point while using Youtube but, respect is respect.

  • @diglightdig o and just for the sake of enlightening you, respect is not respect. As i have stated, etiquette (and this applies to the concept of respect) is totally dependent on each person or culture. If you were to see your father, and you greeted him by simply saying "hello, father" that would be very well be considered respect in western culture. However, if you were in ancient china, you wouldve been severely punished for not bowing down. YOu wouldve been deemed disrespectful.

  • @diglightdig and why do you keep changing your stance whenever your contentions are exposed as idiocy? You said black holes have not been proven. That was the only thing you said. Now all i did was explain that black holes have been proven, so the conversation should be over. But for some reason, you need to babble on about how science isn't proven and people gotta ask to reply on youtube.

  • @JAEKIM10

Once again you have manipulated something I have said to suit your agenda. Blackholes have not been proven. How can you prove something you can't see? You have never answered my question? A blackhole has never been seen. Has it? A blackhole is invisible. Dynamical blackholes have even less to "prove" they are there. You can sidestep answering my question all you want. You can use your theoretical jargon also to try and belittle me also.

  • @diglightdig Ivealready explained to you how blackholes were proven. If you want to know in greatdetail, you can just about find out anywhere via books or websites you deem to be reliable.Look youre the one stated the non sense that black holes havent been proven to exist since people"can't get close to them without dying".I've demonstrated why that reasoning is stupid so you feel the need to start babbling about me being rude and how you can't trust science.I'm not gonna indulge you any further.

  • @JAEKIM10

Thank you for answering my question. A blackhole can't be seen but you still believe in it's existence. Contradiction at it's finest.

  • @diglightdig I'm gonna have to break my word of not indulging cuz youve surpassed your stupidity once again. I dont believe in god because there isn't any EVIDENCE or logical reasons for his existence, not because i can't see him/her. Scientists can't see black holes, but theres evidence for them as I have explained. Why can't you comprehend very simple reasoning? Why do you insist of babbling a bunch of nonsense and then get offended when someone corrects your idiocy?

  • @JAEKIM10

Of course you have to break your word of indulgence...whatever

  • @diglightdig * A blackhole has never been seen.*

As it has already been pointed out to you the effects of blackholes can be seen and measured. In other words there is evidence for their existence and hence a sound basis for belief in their existence whereas the evidence for the existence of your god is ....*crickets*

  • @BlueAvantiGuy

The "effects" of blackholes? Bottom line: a blackhole has never been seen and will never be seen because they are invisible. You are believing in something you can't see. Let your crickets give you peace at night.

  • @diglightdig Why don’t you just face facts, you tried to use blackholes as an analogy and you’re argument (such as it was) has been totally destroyed. There *is* solid, verified empirical evidence for the existence of blackholes but there is *no* evidence to support belief in some invisible sky-pixie.

    Sorry but you FAIL.

  • @BlueAvantiGuy

It may have been totally destroyed in your mind because you know the analogy is a strong one. You can't bring yourself to admit the fact that you believe in something invisible and all the while you chastise people that believe in something invisible. God is not the vindictive, jealous and controlling God that you wish He was. EVERYTHING WOULD BE POINTLESS IF THAT WAS TRUE.

  • @diglightdig Blackholes manifest in the real world in an observable, verifiable and measurable manner, as has already been explained. How does your invisible sky-pixie manifest in the real world?

    NOTE:

Wishful thinking, hallucinations and deluded thinking are not acceptable evidence.

  • @BlueAvantiGuy

    Take care of yourself...

  • @diglightdig "Take care of yourself"

You to - we might disagree on religion but we are both human so take care.

  • @diglightdig "How about the fact that the number of people that believe in God outweigh the number people that don't. "

There was a time when the majority of the Earth's population believed that the Sun orbited a flat Earth. Popularity is not equal to truth.

The gravitation effects of blackholes *has* been seen, therefore there is evidence for their existence. What evidence is there for the existence of your particular god?

  • @diglightdig and notice how you switched from black holes aren't proven to science isn't proven because im not the scientist proving it. Look just go to church and do your blind faith nonsense. But don't think your silly superstitions are even remotely as credible as science.

  • @diglightdig "A blackhole hasn't been proven to exist"

I hope that you're written this up for publication - you'll get a Nobel Prize for sure. Umm - what evidence do you have for this conclusion?

  • @BlueAvantiGuy

You are just another example of a rude atheist. Blackholes can't exist according to the atheists way of thinking because they haven't been seen.

  • @diglightdig The gravitational effects of blackholes *has* been observed and their physics is well known. Try again or better yet read a real science text - you might learn something real.

  • @BlueAvantiGuy

Quit spinning my point. The "gravitational effects" of blackholes have been seen. The blackholes have NOT been seen. That means you do believe in something you have not seen? You are contradicting yourself.

  • @diglightdig pps. misotheism says hi.

  • as a fellow non-believer, i usually agree with your videos. but because this has the restriction of having to rhyme, i understand things may just come out. creationism isn't a pathetic lie, it is a poetic way to explain something that at the time, people didn't have the answers to. i feel like with this song you're making a mockery of christians. i don't like these types of videos because they only instigate and provoke christians to do the same. in the end, you're getting nowhere.

  • @youkeylaylee Friend your a breath of fresh air, and an example to all non believers, your attitude is one to be exalted. Bless ya mate

  • @shakinahstorm what attitude? i love life and living, i'm happy with who i am and wish to make the world a better place. my main point was that i don't think it's a good idea to make a mockery of religion because it offends people and causes them to engage in beligerent fights to prove the other is stupid rather than having an intellectual discussion to find the truth

  • @youkeylaylee Spot on!, a champion attitude!.

  • Three cheers for common sense and sing alongs!

  • you must really hate God to have written a song like this.

  • @diglightdig You can't hate something you don't believe in! I've got no hate for any deities.

  • @CompletelyLovely

I don't understand why you would write a song about something you don't believe in.

  • @diglightdig Not only am I passionate about liberating people from the mental bondage of religion, I am dedicated to getting religion out of schools and politics in general. Sometimes, writing a silly song and singing it poorly can help in a small way to spread these ideas, while also entertaining like minded people. I am very sorry that your brain doesn't work well enough to allow you to figure that out for yourself.

  • @CompletelyLovely

So I guess you could say that you are making it your "religion" to liberate people from the mental bondage of religion.

Religion: something someone believes in and follows devotedly; a point or matter of ethics or conscience: to make a religion of fighting prejudice. I know I didn't have to listen to the song but I did (BTW, you sing and play the guitar well). I like listening to acoustic music accompanied by singing. But the lyrics came across as obnoxious and insulting.

  • @diglightdig My passion for secularisation could technically fit a loose definition of religion like that. But the word "religion" carries with it far too many connotations and implications that have nothing to do with what I believe, so no, it doesn't apply to me.

  • @CompletelyLovely

The dictionary is another book that was written by humans. The definition of a word can take on different meanings. I can appreciate the fact that you have chosen the definition that suit your needs.

  • @diglightdig "But the lyrics came across as obnoxious and insulting."

Like your religious book is insulting to atheists, and eye for an eye.

wait, we have a long way to go before we can return all the crap that this book has dished out.

  • @saintpine

We meet again. Nice to see you. I'm afraid that this book can only be denied. Question: does it make a person stupid if they don't put the toilet seat down after they use the toilet?

  • @diglightdig Nice voice and nice song!

  • @seasidericky

Why are you telling ME this? I'm not the one that was singing.

  • @diglightdig What?Beauty of songwriting is you can write a song about ANYTHING!Your question is stupid. Is like believers asking- ''why am I,as atheist watching and commenting on videos about faith and God?''I'll tell you why.Because it's fucking dangerous to see retarded delusional idiots around us spreading that shit. And I want to make sure I will let them know they are suffering from brain damage caused by faith.Anything else you don't understand?Greetings from Slovakia.

  • @phillozoph50

I understand that you have serious anger issues. All the name calling and verbal bashing in the world is never gonna change someones way of thinking. In fact it will only deter them from accepted your way of thinking. And that goes for both sides of the fence. My grandmother was born in Slovakia and she doesn't have the hatred you have. Must be instilled during childhood.

  • @diglightdig

Do you have an idea what hatred is all about?

  • @saintpine

Hatred: the feeling of one who hates; intense dislike or extreme aversion or hostility. It is in the context of @phillozoph50 words. Why didnt you answer the question I asked you 25 minutes ago. ^^^ Oh, and THIS conversation is between @phillozoph50 and I. So please keep your comments to yourself.

  • Comment removed

  • @phillozoph50

Then let people be. If they are idiots by your definition, then so be it. No need to call names. It's counterproductive. And I am no more retarded than you are. :-)

  • @diglightdig If you believe in God,YOU ARE more retarded than me.

  • Comment removed

  • @phillozoph50

In the words of Adam Lambert: 'Whadda You Want From Me?" And in the words of Jerry Springer: "Until next time, take care of yourself, and others."

  • I deny the holy spirit and the horse it rode in on!

  • this song should go double platinum!!

  • Go electric with a les paul,a stack of marshalls & some leather & you'll have a hit!

  • GREAT, FABULOUS Can we record it ????

  • I believe in Raptor Jesus, for only he can save me from Satanasaurus Rex.

  • the lyrics are good.

  • The mere thought of Christianity doesn't make any sense to me. Haha. I mean, lets say there was an actual god who goes by Jesus(or however it goes). God isn't going to create these things called "humans" and make a world in his image. Theres no point. Well, unless its for his entertainment to watch us, but even then a god doesn't need entertainment. But if it was for his entertainment, hes doing a very good job apparently. Ya know, with disease, religion, evil, etc.

  • Hey pretty...!!

  • Religion poisons the mind.

  • AWESOME.

  • Great song and delivery. I think the only thing keeping some xtians from being violent against non-christians are our secular laws.

  • @womanlybassplayer I know what ya mean, i mean far out, when im on those late night city missionary trips feeding the hungry, i just so want to kill them???

  • Wonderful! You're a girl after my own heart!

  • Thank you beautiful person. You are an angel of reality and truth !

  • I think I love you. If you ever start falling for overweight underachieving stand-up comedians, you should give me a call.

  • Nice you wrote this yourself good lyrics and rhymes you got going well done! seems 203 religious folk don't agree but the song might grow on them one day :-)

  • I was rolling on the ground laughing my ass off thank you the whole time you were singing, I needed this on a Sunday morning. Kept doing what your doing it is great. :)

  • you have such a lovely voice its a new classic great job I will rember it all ways :)

  • Whats interesting, is how you sang religion is barbaric with Christianity in mind, yet i would not like to imagine just how that song would of went down if you had of changed the words to direct it at islam, then sang it dressed in nothing but a bikini fair smack in the middle of afganistan?. This girl really needs to get things into perspective!

  • @shakinahstorm No, that's not interesting at all. Both Islam and Christianity are equally absurd, and you've failed at making any sort of relevant point. How do you know if, given the opportunity, I wouldn't sing or speak against Islam in a potentially volatile setting? I mean, think of the publicity!

  • @CompletelyLovely My point is, when it comes to the enemies of each of the two faiths, Christianity and Islam are complete opposites.

    Islam: Kill all Infidel

    Christianity: Love our enemy

So in closing, you can forget about the publicity if your not going to be alive to reap the benifits of it.

And i agree in that i wouldent find it all that interesting, someone as gorgeous as yourself on the recieving end of muslim persecution :(

  • @shakinahstorm How do you feel about the fact that the most horrible graphically descriptive death threats I've recieved, (about things like tearing out my guts and forcing me to eat them while I'm still alive while raping me at the same time) come from Christians? Jesus himself said he came not to bring peace, but to bring a sword (matthew 10:34 I think). If you think it's safer to have a discussion about religion in front of Christians, I'd say you're wrong.

  • @CompletelyLovely Sounds like you need to make a video of the "love" in your email.

  • @CompletelyLovely no swords will be brandished at the reason rally in march. The real question is will completely lovely make and appearance???? If not How can we make this happen?

  • Comment removed

  • @shakinahstorm My god has a bigger penis than your god

  • @CaveDwelnCamelJockey Mate im happy for you champ.

  • @CompletelyLovely absolutely! Christianity loves to hide behind this fluffly love thy neighbour facade, but when it somes down to it, if you don't follw their rules, you can't be part of the "Heaven Club" and you'll burn for all eternity - doubly so if you're gay or an atheist.

  • @shakinahstorm Your argument essentially amounts to "Well our ideals are different" when really they aren't there are plenty of muslims with a pacifistic views and there are just as many christians who are completely psychotic towards those of different religions (and those without religion). Get off your high horse and recognize that both groups are perfectly capable of being assholes.

  • Comment removed

  • @LastOptionPils

Heres the thing champion, i dont know that i was suggesting that within Christianity its not possible to find assholes, if anything, its littered with assholes, heck i myself have been guilty of being an asshole on many occassions, assholes are found in all races and religions. What i know that i was suggesting, is that when dealing with enemies, Mohammuds fundemental msg was "Kill all infidel", where as Jesus was "love your enemies", complete opposites.

  • @shakinahstorm "Mohammuds fundemental msg was "Kill all infidel", where as Jesus was "love your enemies", complete opposites."

First off, dick sniffer, I ain't your champion. Second, ever hear the phrase "actions speak louder than words"?

You can babble all about your little fairy tale all you want, but when it gets down to it, th faithful have the same history of violent disgraceful behavior.

Spamming this comment section with your ridiculous crap won't change that.

  • @moopism I dont know that i suggested you were MY champion?, i happen to agree that you are a champion in the same way that i am a champion, we are all of equal immense value as people.

Yes actions do speak louder and words, and the actions spoken off here are the actions which were disobedient to the faith.

PS, If you are looking to make an enemy in me, your wasting your time.

  • @moopism See this is the thing that keeps on being missed, What does the imperfections of human beings have to do with what Jesus encouraged?. Eg, could it be said that Jesus would approve of the behaviour from the list you gave, an honest answer to that question would tell you that these people were not practicing Christianity, however this sort of behaviour coming from a muslim, it can be seen as practicing islam. Are you beginning to see a picture?.

  • @shakinahstorm Islam also says love your enemies! You have no idea about islam!

  • @SuperMemzzz Well then champ, direct me to where muhhummad encourages one to love their enemies, or to love your neigbour in the same way Jesus did?, within the quran.

  • @shakinahstorm well, I am looking for the exact quotes at the moment but because I don't remember the numbers, it is taking me a while but there is a bit that translates more or less: do not engage in a fight or acts of harm or even insult with the enemies of your god or your path, simply say 'salam' (meaning 'peace') and walk along.

  • @SuperMemzzz Sorry champion, i think you may of missed my question, i asked you to "direct me to where muhhummad encourages one to LOVE their enemies, or to LOVE your neigbour in the SAME WAY Jesus did?, within the quran.".

  • @shakinahstorm how do you define infidel when you say the religion teaches to kill infidels? Simply a non-believer in God or a non-believer in Islam?

  • @MrNicMachiavelli As far as i know, im an infedel, anyone who doesant accept the faith of islam.

  • @shakinahstorm I am an atheist. I happen to also be reading the entire Quran and Bible because I am tired of hearing everybody giving false information. The Hadiths range in extremes but Muslims are divided in which Hadiths to believe. The Quran itself says treat Christians and Jews as brothers (unless they blasphemy Islam). It says to stay away from atheists/pagans, basically saying they are impure and will lead you astray. It's in the first third of the Quran.

  • @MrNicMachiavelli So would calling Jesus God be a blasphemy amongst the muslims, and if so, how is it to be dealt with?

  • @shakinahstorm Jesus, while an important prophet, is not as important as Muhammad which is why they become even more upset. It is only some who become enraged and it is more of a problem in shitty countries 3rd world countries. .

  • @shakinahstorm I honestly despise book burning or personal attacks on the whole of Muslim themselves like that dumb ass preacher but I have no problem with Salman Rushdie whom I admire a lot and the Danish cartoonists. I think they should be ignored and to do it anyway.

  • @shakinahstorm Fear of reprisal stifles the criticism religion, and esp those specific religious fanatics beliefs, deserve. I think all religions deserve criticism and if theirs isn't then their worst fanatics will become even worse. They are bullies. It is worth risk and I look at people who condemn the critic but not the people threatening to do violence with contempt. They are as much of a problem as the fanatics themselves. Besides, nobody respects an atheists lack of belief.

  • @shakinahstorm attacking Jesus is still blasphemy. Just not something they usually kill over unless they are the worst of the worst. Some of their fanatics don;t care and some do. One threatened me for mocking Mary.

  • @shakinahstorm by the way, I am currently attacking the Quran arguing with a Muslim friend, but I call out everything inaccurate I see from both critics and Muslims alike

  • @shakinahstorm Actually "Love your enemy" is a quote mine. The full quote is to "love your enemy and that way you are heaping burning coals on his head" In other words, Christian values are to let the deity torture your enemies forever and the best insurance to help that happen is to be nice to them (i.e. get out of the deity's way while it acts as your personal bone-breaking thug).

At least the Muslims are up-front about their hatred.

  • @Aaron1975melbourne Who would ever want you to love your enemy? The answer is-your enemy. So he can fuck you in the ass even easier while you will sit and lie to yourself you love him:)

  • @Aaron1975melbourne [35] But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. [36] Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

  • @Aaron1975melbourne [32] "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' love those who love them. [33] And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' do that. [34] And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' lend to 'sinners,' expecting to be repaid in full.

  • @shakinahstorm Just goes to show that the Bible can say anything someone wishes it to say. Regardless, it doesn't stop the quote mine about "love your enemy" being anything other than a quote mine.

  • @Aaron1975melbourne Theres only way this verse is to be interpreted.

  • @shakinahstorm Except when you ask others... who will then "interpret" it differently. Regardless, I'm not personally swayed to think differently simply from Bible versus, and merely showed that the Biblical verse about "loving your enemies" was a quote mine. Your red herring is thus irrelevant.

  • @Aaron1975melbourne Can i please have an example of the differant types of interpretations to this verse please?. Thankyou

  • @shakinahstorm As I said, when you ask others you'll come up with various meanings depending on what the person wishes it to say. Considering that Jesus supposedly said that none of the laws change and I've been told that it really means "all the laws have now changed!" I don't think theistic views of Biblical passages are based in any way, shape or form on what the Biblical passages say. Regardless, it's irrelevant to my comment about the "love your enemy" passage.

  • @Aaron1975melbourne Again, i will hold onto my stance that there is only one way to interpret this verse, it is universally agreed apon that there is only one way to love our enemies, and that is to "Love our enemies".

  • @shakinahstorm In which case, you're totally ignoring my original point that the full quote is about not taking action because that way the deity will. No amount of sticking things in your ears saying "la la la I can&
