@trinch17 This does not work with Gamecube games. I wish it did but when the Wii detects a gamecube game it shuts off the USB ports as the Gamecube didn't have a USB at the time.

@Mysteriozone If you don't want to use disks, you will need to buy the SD Media Launcher. I wouldn't suggest it though SD cards are a pain in the ass if it gets corrupted horribly.

Hey guys if you have an problem that says "error" i found out a way to fix.

1. Download a program called "WiiBakupManager"

2. format your USB from there (Format to WBFS)

3.your ready to go

I partitioned my harddrive a long time ago. It's a SimpleSave HP 500GB harddrive that I bought last Christmas. When I got it, I partitioned my harddrive into two seperate components (One for my normal storage and the other for Wii games)

I partitioned my harddrive with 100GBs for my Wii games. It's plenty of storage space for me since I only have 16 Wii games on my harddrive (I don't plan on adding more)

The rest is just for my music and games. :)

Because i have the program too but you can't add WBSF files only iso's and rar files, which is fine but sometimes i download the files in WBSF format so i have to use wiibackup manager to add them it seems redundant thanks for the video.

Hey Mysteriozone! Do you know anything about the FAT32 (?) format? Some ppl say do that, some ppl say format the WiiHDD with WBFS and then leave room for FAT32 or partion blah blah, i'm so confused. Can I just do it your way and format the entire WiiHDD to WBFS and just use WBFS manager? Will I get problems later for other games? Thanks!!! =]

@smllpup I have two drives both are formatted WBFS without any Fat32 partitions and they work just fine. You will need WBFS Manager to read the drive and to add, remove and rename the games as windows doesn't read that format.

question ...i use btjunkie.org and get my games...first 1 was wii fit (pregnant wife) and is dance sensations (9yr old daughter)...i got wii fit on the drive..followed ur vid...very nice btw...but when she tried to play the wii fit it flickers and very hard to see like a bad video connection...now 2nd question the just dance came in like 15 parts...do i have to install every single 1 or is there a way to make it all one iso?...good lloking out man.i have not put the dance sensation on the drive

@twiins03 If you have priiloader installed on your wii you can hold down reset to launch priiloader and go to system hacks and enable "Block disc updates" and then you can play without updating I suggest you get priiloader if you don't have it installed

@metlmulisha Make sure the tab on the SD card is not on write protect and make sure there is room. If it can't make the directory the card its one of those two issues.

Hello I think I'm going to have to put the covers in manually because when it downloads from the network it doesn't go through. everything else, however does(codes,txt,title).I read somewhere that the covers PNG file must be 160x224, but is this in pixels, inches, or something else.I tried pixels, but it still doesn't work. and iches is just too big so I din't try it. all I did was copy the covers (JPEG)and turned them into PNG's. Plz help.

I used a program called irfanview its free google it. You save it as png, pixels and with the game id.

Yes just download them and name them with the gameID. When the system can't find a cover I do it manually, I find the cover, resize it, rename it and make sure its a png file.

yes., it is connected to the internet. and I tested the connection, its working good.  For reason its not letting me download the covers.... maybe I missed something when I downloaded the USB loadergx...all I did was to put the loader in the app folder and since is the fowarded version , I did have to install the channe(wad). Is there any cover folder that needs to be in the sd ? thanks so much for replying!!1

@Efchaz I use CFGUSB Loader 5.1 . I downloaded a wad and installed it, it creates a usbloader folder and inside that there is a covers folder.
