A few days ago, my drum teacher had me stand at a marimba and repetitively hit a note, with my eyes closed, he then waved my arm around and told me to hit the same note again, eyes still closed, which I did successfully. Muscle memory allows a person to do multiple takes of the same action regardless of their ability to see the object. As long as Aaron knows that his arm will hit what he wants it to hit, his muscle memory allows him to overcome visual impairment to do it again and again.
