One of the technologies that's been worked on involves storing energy from marching/walking (www54.homepage.villanova.edu/­michael.erwin/Research%20Paper­s/5sri.pdf), and multifunctional fabrics (i.e. climate control, electronics, protection) are another. So it's certainly within the realm of possibility in the very near future.

You could, in fact, use urine with this system, as unappetizing as that sounds.
