  • This was in vanouver. I never got to see it but I really wanted to!

  • I saw this show in Las Vegas a few years ago. It was the most beautiful and amazing experience. As any horse owner/lover can attest to, the incredible training that goes into these magnificent animals is breathtaking. Can't wait till it comes around again......I could never get tired of watching this show.

  • Seen the show twice and I thought it was amazing :) I'm actually training my horse the Parelli way and recently I've heard Cavalia worked with Parelli a bit, when was that? I was really happy to hear about that!

  • hi! i am from brasil and here people are forbitting circus with animals. some cities do not let them even stay in the town! I want to know about their tournée, if there is a chance for me to travel to wathc them, i will.

  • I just saw this show tonight in Charlotte, NC and it was amazing! The horses are so well trained and are stunning. The trainers are very nice as well. I would love to watch this show every night.

  • @Lktimebomb Wish I knew if they would be coming back to Seattle, WA. I saw this show there when they came, and it was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. l hope I am lucky enough to get to see it again. Afterwards, seeing the horses up close in the stables- one of the best experiences I have ever had.

  • @saddlebred213 I did get to see them the last week again and it was amazing of course. I went to see them in the stables both times. One of the babies they have right now stuck it's head out and licked my face. Probably the cutest thing ever! I hope they come back to Seattle so you can see them again. It's so worth it.

  • I wish I could've gone to see this show in my bf's place.. he didn't like it, but seeing these trailers and from his description I know I would've loved it =[

  • muy inpresionante

  • i love this show at first i thought it was going to be a bunch of hippies loving horses but the things the peole acomplish with these beautiful animal is amazing if you havnt seen it yet then get your butt of the computer and buy some tickets !!!!!

  • It was all that I imagined and more!

Even hippies can create the most beautiful things - actually the most treasured & touching of things...yes, everyone should experience this MAGIC!

  • i cant wait to see it this weekend, it looks GREAT

  • This was the most incredible show I have ever seen! So mystical and beautiful and well worth the cost of the tickets

  • I've once worked for them in Scottsdale, AZ I moved since I hope to see them some day again! I loved the show I rallywant to seeit again sme day!

  • will see...

  • I was lucky enough to receive 2 last minute tickets for this show for me and my daughter ...for free from a friend who saw the show a few times. the show i saw was in Montreal May 29 2009,it had this same scene,i found the show magical ,im a horse maniac!

    lol!

    J'ai adoree ce spectacle,je l'ai vue a Montreal le 29 mai 2009!

  • Yes, that bar/style is known as the Russian bar. Again, glad you liked the show and thanks for commenting!

  • I LOVED THIS SHOW! I SAW IT JUST TODAY ON MARCH 21!!! IT WAS SOOO AMAZING, I WISH I COULD SEE IT AGAIN! DID YOU KNOW THAT THIS CAST AND ALL THE HORSES ORIGINATED FROM CANADA!!!! AND THAT ALL THE HORSES IN THE SHOW ARE ALL MALES!!! PLEASE IF YOU CAN GET A CHANCE TO SEE IT THEN GOOO!!! (p.s some people can be really stupid on youtube. i mean look at all the comments under me) OH AND THEY DID ORIGINATE FROM CANADA NOT FRANCE!!!

  • Glad you enjoyed the show! Yes, I actually worked with Cavalia when they had their first tour in the U.S. and that was super special since most of the cast was still original.

Ah and I agree with you about the comments, I was actually surprised that they were even there in the first place since I usually see everyone that comes in. However now they have all been blocked and deleted.

  • yeah i was actually speechless when it was over! i was just like "wow"! it was so beautiful! My favorite part was the finale! i also liked these 3 guys in tights and one would do flips on a bar! I REALLY WANT TO SAY MORE BUT THERES TOO MUCH!!! overall- loved it. :)

  • was this is scottsdale? i went to it yesterday! so beautiful!

  • hey every one i dont know if eneyone herd but unfortunatly templado died last year... i was so sad he was my fav horse...this show will be interesting without him... although it will still be more then astonishing, he will be missed<3<3<3

  • I saw Cavalia here in Montreal last night, and it's not the same without Frederic and Magali and their horses. Oh it's still an excellent show, but it's missing Frederic's magical touch.

I miss the beautiful Templado too.

  • Sounds like you know the show well... I was wondering, are the horses treated well off the set?

  • Are you kidding ?

Those are the best-treated show horses on the planet !

I Saw the show 3 times with VIP tickets with access to the stables after the show, and can assure you that's true.

When I die, I want to come back as a Cavalia horse.

  • Me too!

Those horses are treated like royalty!

Dont try to find animal abuse in Cavalia.

The philosophy of Cavalia is training them w utter love and no disrespect whatsoever,

    Lia88mtl,

before asking that question I suggest that you research what Cavalia and their riders are all about! That question is disrespectful when it comes to Cavalia! They are no circus, it is an equestrian show well known for the avant garde training philosophy...

  • I totaly agree with you, alaumudir, asking that question is disrespectful for thw show.

It's not surprising, considering people who were once with Cirque du Soleil where involved in its creation.

Cirque du Soleil do not showcase animals because they dissagree wiith the way circus animals are treated in general.

Frédéric Pignon is a "horse whisperer", he understands them and knows how to communicate with them.

  • Best Show i've ever seen in my live!!!Made tears come to my eyes, connection between horse and human in perfect harmony, wonderful!! Since i do Freedom Dressage myself i know what lot of work and patience (not to mention love and respect ) one needs to train a horse!! Just brilliant to watch !!

  • I've seen teh show, it was phenomenal. I would love to see it again :D!

they have amazing horse-human connection... it was unforgettable. Hope they come back sometime soon ;]

thanks for the video of it!

  • OOO awesome!!! Thats so great they're coming back here. I've been so patient. =D I'd love to check back with you occasionally to see whether or not they're going anywhere else in the US. I'm kind of on the eastern seaboard...lol I'd gladly travel to Arizona to see Cavalia, but it would be nice if they eventually toured closer to where I am :D

Thanks again for your help! It is very very appreciated. ^^

  • Hey there, Cavalia1!! xD I saw on the site that cavalia is coming to canada! I was wondering if you knew whether or not they're coming down to the U.S. or if they're going elsewhere again. I figured they might come since they would be so close, but I wasn't sure...=/

  • Hi! Yes, I was informed that the show would be coming back for another North American tour. So far I only know of one U.S. city that they have booked and that would be Scotsdale, Arizona. However I have talked with one of Normand's assistants and she said that she would keep me posted with future cities. :D

  • These horses are amazing. If you really want to show someone how incredible horses are, and how they dedicate themselves so much to what they do, I recommend this show more than anything!

  • Glad you enjoyed the show so much! Thanks for the comment!

  • They were in town last year and I absolutely LOVED IT! It was AMAZING...

  • Hi All,

A lot of ppl are working in the "back/dark side" (never known, but must be always present!) of Cavalia... I mean: Pat, JB, Nat, "G" ... And the Knokke's Hospital (for some "Pat"'s problems)

Thanks to all of them to be so kind and so professionals!

    Cheers and Hugs from Belgium!

  • I saw the show this weekend, it was amazing! If I would have a chance of working with them, I wouldn't hessitate one second, you're very lucky to have worked with them, must've been amazing =D I hope to be as good as them one day (i'm a vaulter =D)

    Thanks for the video! =D

  • Thanks! Yes, it was one of the best experiences of my life so far. :) Glad you enjoyed the video so much. You know, Normand the creator of the show is making a Cavalia 2...maybe you can join that show! :D

  • i saw this in MA um like in 05 i think when ever they came to suffolk downs (racetrack in MA)

  • This show is amazing. I worked for them temporary when they were in my area and it's an AMAZING SHOW. I SEEN IT OVER 15 TIMES AND I STILL LOOKED FORWARD TO SEEING IT AGAIN AND AGAIN. ITS AMAZING. I DUNNO WHEN THEIR RETURNING TO THE UNITED STATES.

  • Cool! When did you work with the show? I worked with them in Santa Monica in the stables and still email the performers. They will not be back to the U.S. for at least another 2 1/2 years. Although I know that Normand, the creator of the show, is putting together another show.

  • MIRROR IMAGE!

this was one of my favorites. i recommend seeing this to all!

  • Thanks for commenting on my video. However this is not the "Mirror Image" part of the show. That was done with only two riders (Estelle and Magali Delgado). This video is of the "Carousel" act. If you have any questions, please let me know. I used to work with the show and might be able to answer you. :)

  • i've been there it was magical

    really beautyfull

  • Beautiful work with the horses, thanks for posting this. Just one little annoyance, and that's the text in the middle of the screen. It could have been put in a corner, but where it is, my eyes keep drifting to the text and away from the horses! Other than that, I love the video, gorgeous horses.

  • Sure thing. Yeah, I know about the text. When I posted this I used a trial version of the software. Sorry about it. :) Thanks for the comment though.

  • i went to see this show when i was 9 or 10 i swear it i was entranced i <3 horses still and seeing this again brings back memories

  • Glad you enjoyed the show so much! What city did you see it in? I worked with the show in California, in the stables. :)

  • is this video in the Forum of Barcelona?

  • No, this was taken when I worked with the show in Santa Monica, California. :)

  • Ok, thanks ^^

  • A cavalia 2?! I was in California when I saw it with my mom. It was magnificent. Hopefully they will coem here. I know that "lettuce" i beleive that was his name, didnt listen at one point so it gave a laugh to the crowd.

  • You might be thinking of the name Aete. Was he a white horse with a funny looking neck/mane, in the final act? His name is Aete. I worked in the stables and we never had a horse named Lettuce. :)

  • I wanted to see Cavalia SO BAD when they were here in the US...but couldn't. Do you by chance happen to know when they will be coming back to the US? I greatly appreciate it, and thanks for the videos!! :3

  • You are very welcome! Thanks for commenting. I used to work with the shiw and regularly talk to my friends (the performers). I am not sure exactly when they will come back to the U.S. I know that they will be in Europe for about four years or so. They are making a Cavalia 2, so maybe that will tour the U.S.

  • Oh, well I guess I will have to go to Europe...haha. Oh well, I can be patient. :3 Thanks!

  • I saw this show only once but seriously there is no word to describe it! I LOVED it!!

My horseback riding teacher left the ranch I was taking my lessons and is now working for them =D

  • Glad you enjoyed the show so much!

Really? What is your teacher's name? Maybe we worked together. :)

  • Hum I only remember his first name xDD Etienne

  • I don't want to brag, but I saw Cavalia 3 times. all of them with VIP tickets at 200 $ CND each. Loved every second of it. Too bad they are in Europe for a while.

Can't wait to see Cavalia 2.

    ;-a

  • That's ok! I too have seen Cavalia many, many times. I would have to say over 30 times and each time it was the VIP experience as well. Of course, some of those times that I saw the show, I was working backstage. :D

  • Its a very good show but the production staff is fucked up .I used to work for them, they have so many illegals things one of their tactics is to flee you from North America and when you get to the border they ask you to declare yourself as a tourist so that they dont have to get you a working permit in Europe so if you have an accident on the site, you dont have work-insurrance you are fucked.Norman Latourelle is a con man

  • I remember when Cavalia was in the Bay Area here in the United States in California and I was working for the show. I was able to see the show every day for free since I was an usher and I looked forward to the show everyday and I really enjoyed it. It's the best and the music is really good, too.

  • Cool, glad to see another employee! I worked in the stables when the show was in Santa Monica. If it wasn't for Normand Latourelle, I wouldn't have had such a fantastic experience. This video was from when they were in Santa Monica. One of the performers (who is no longer with the show) put a little DVD together for me. :D

Glad you loved the show so much!

  • Hey...amazing video...though, what you think of horses that are Arab breeds.

  • Thanks. I like Arab breeds.

  • THIS SHOW IS AMAZING!

  • Glad you liked it so much!

  • Thank you so much! That's a huge help. Yes, I might have to ask you, but I don't know how soon...although it seems you check these posts daily. :-) Oh, and do you think/know whether cavalia will come back to preform in the united states?

  • Yes, its just part of my daily checking of my email. I know that they are on tour in Europe for four years, but then again that length of time might be extended because of their popularity. My friends tell me that they had to add a few extra rows/seats because ever night they are sold out. At this time though I can not say when they will be back in the states. Normand (the creator of the show) told me when I spoke with him last that he was coming up with a new show similar to Cavalia.

  • that's awesome that you used to work for cavalia. i loved it when i saw it. what part did you preform in?

  • I am very flatered that you think I was "in" the show. :D I worked in the stables and backstage at Cavalia. So I helped to warm up the horses for the riders. Although, and I have a video of this on here...one of the performers got me up on her Roman Post team and I rode in the warm up tent. LOL! But never on stage. I am very glad though that you enjoyed the show so much!

  • cavalia1? you seem to know really well when cavalia will be traveling to different countries..I've checked the website, and i can only find the place where they are for that month, and I need to know more ahead of time. Do you know how I can find out? It would be a really big help. :)

  • Well, it depends how often they update their website. I know ahead of time where they will be because I talk with the performers and other friends that I made when I worked there. They usually set their dates/locations early (before they ever post them). So, if you need to know where they are or where they will be please ask me and I will find out. The only thing is, the response back may take some time since they are very busy traveling and performing. Hope that helps!

  • I wish it would come to Australia, I am so desperate to see it but with quarantine laws it probably won't happen.

  • Aww, well maybe you will need to take a trip to Europe to see them. They are in Germany right now and next they will be going to Spain!

  • oh, this is sooo beautiful, I've been to the show in Amsterdam, Holland. It was amezing, great experience! I have the dvd here, and its so cool, you also see cavalia, in its first year etc, i really lovee this!!

  • Glad that you saw the show! Yeah, I love the DVD too! That is def old school Cavalia right there. That was the Cavalia that I knew when I worked there.

  • you worked there?!

  • Yes, I did. I worked in the stables. I got the job as a thank you from the creator (Normand Latorelle) because my grandmother and I helped to get the show to come to my town. It was the greatest time of my life! I made many friends with the performers and I still talk to them all the time.

  • Jealous

  • omg i went to this a couple years agoand it was the most amazing thing ever!!!

  • Good! I'm happy to know that you enjoyed the show so much. It is ther greatest show I have ever seen and I was lucky enough to work with them in the stables. When did you go and where did you see the show?

  • i saw it in toronto..i honestly cant remember how long ago it was. all i know is that is was beautiful! my friend applied for a position with her horse as she is the youngest person ever to complete all parelli levels but she got into some other show. that is so cool you got to work with them..i would die for a chance just to meet the performers and the horses!

  • Oh that's really cool! Yeah, if you saw it in Toronto then that must have been a very long time ago....like five years ago I think. Yes, working in the stables was tons of fun and I made many friends, even with the performers. I am still in contact with them via email. Did you know that they are in Europe right now? They are in Belgium and then they go to Germany I think. Also, if you enjoyed the show so much, they have made a DVD of the show and its GREAT!!!

  • it was the most amzing thing i have ever seen... i was so lucky to be able to go...

  • Its a fantastic show!!!!!

  • It is isn't it? When and where did you see Cavalia? I have seen it over 25 times and worked in the stables. It was a lot of fun!

  • hi all those horses are very talented, r they all luicitano horses? i train horses for trickriding, type tommy fahey trick riding and watch me, send me private message please thanx xxxxxxxxxxxx

  • i saw this in dallas texas and it was spectacular one of the most beautiful things id ever seen. the singers in the begining are awesome

  • Yay! I am glad that you liked the show so much! It is really a fantastic show.

  • My gosh, what I would give to be able to photograph, let alone work with these animals! I've seen the show three times now and was brought to tears each time around. The overall beauty, and the bonds between horse and rider are without a doubt the most amazing I have ever seen. I'm in awe...

  • Yes, it is a very moving show! I'm glad that you enjoyed it so much. I too have seen the show many, many times (a little over 25 times) and got to work with them in the stables. It was a lot of fun!!!

  • how did you work with them in the stables.. i'm trying to get int touch so i can be their equine massage therapist because i am certified...let me know please

  • Well, I saw the show when they came to Glendale, CA. My grandmother (who is an actress and her name is June Lockhart) and I talked with Normand Latourelle (creator of the show), Frederic Pignon, and Magali Delgado. We talked about maybe having them come to Santa Monica, CA. Normand who was one of the original Cirque founders was the man who first brought Cirque de Sole to the U.S....in fact to Santa Monica.

  • Anyway he said that it would be so cool to do that and that he had tried to before but he was unable to get anything done about it. So my grandmother and I said that we would talk to the City Council. A little side note...I volunteer with the Santa Monica Mounted Unit and we were going to lose the horses

  • because there was no money in the budget, so my grandmother and I appealed to the city council to give us more money. So that's how we were able to talk to the council. We invited them to go see the show, but we never heard anything about it until around October of 2004.

  • Normand called up my grandmother and thanked us for helping them come to Santa Monica. He was like I don't know how to thank you enough, but please come and work with us in the stables because I already have experience taking care of horses. Anyway, so that's how I got to work for them.

  • I made many friends with the performers and am still in contact with them.

As for how you can get in contact with them, go to their website and go to their jobs page. There you will see a list of all the positions open. You are also able to upload your resume and send it to them. Other than that I don't know how you can get in touch with them. Good luck!

  • I loved this show i saw it at toronto

  • wow that's a fast reaction :P haha.. Maybe strange to hear this from a guy but I would give up my life to work with people and horses offcourse ;) like them.. saw the dvd too and I like the fact that they treat everybody like family.. very nice xxxx

  • Yep! Its very true. We are all one big family!

  • I've been to the show 9 jun in Holland. I was totaly in love with it :) from the begin to the end I had a smile on my face, did'nt saw or heard my friends anymore haha :p I want to live on a ranch too but that's no more than a dream I think

  • Glad you enjoyed it so much! I felt the same way each and every time I went...over 25 times, even when I worked with them!

  • I have been to the show Saturday, it was so amazing! The horses, the people, the music, everythinh was amazingly beautifal! I want to go to it 100 more times, but this was the last week they were here in Holland.

  • Glad you enjoyed it so much!

  • The most AMAZING show ever. I've only seen it once, but I plan on seeing it again.

  • Yeah! And you will find that each time you see the show, there will be new things that you never noticed before! I hope you enjoy!

  • I love this show it's amazing I saw it in Washington DC!!!when r they comin back to DC?? I want to see it again!!!

  • It is an amazing show isn't it?! I too feel in love with the show and am simply broken hearted over them leaving for Europe! They will not be back to the US for about four years or so.

  • I'm glad they came to Europe, I just saw them last thursday and they were amazing!!!!

  • Glad to hear that you enjoyed the show so much! Its worth going to see again and again...like in my case! I have seen the show over 25 times and worked in the stables!

  • Oh, absolutely! To be honest, it's the best on stage preformance that I've ever seen. THAT'S SO LUCKY THAT YOU CAN WORK IN THE STABLES!!! *looks jealous* Get Templado's autograph for me, will you? lol

  • I love giezo he is amazing so full of energy!

  • I worked with the show and that never happened. In fact members from the audience, even if they have the special Rendez-Vous tickets are not allowed to touch the horses when they take a tour through the stables. Thanks for your comment and yes Guizo is a beautiful horse. Did you know that he is owned by Estelle Delgado? In fact she gave me some lessons on him a couple of times.

  • Sorry i didnt mean pet i meant see the horses on the stables .

  • Don't be sorry, I didn't mean to sound snobby or anything! I'm just glad you enjoyed the show so much! It really is something magical isn't it!

  • Yes it is i have 4 oof the the calvila horse stuffed animals Guizo and i forget his name but he is a paint and realy young .?

  • Pico and he is an appaloosa.

  • I saw the show live in DC for my birth day it was more amazing and touching .If u get front row u can pet the horses fter the show as i petted luoistonio i felt a rush of wild love in me!

  • Where was it recorded ?

  • This was recorded in Santa Monica, California.

  • Thanks :)

  • it's so beautiful. I went to Cavalia and I could'nt say a word, I was speechless.

  • Lovely, C! I love it!!! Nice close-ups lol :)
