I also think that the mother should not talk to her son about adult stuff. She also does not respect his 'space' but does expect or demand hers from him. If you want your kids do certain things or don't, you have to give the right example. On the other hand..I think this kid is rude and I can hear his father talk to the boy's mouth.

I really wonder about mental stability of this kid in the future, the mom is torturing the poor kid! The problem is that she is used to begging for kindness " I used to beg for kindness from my parents" and now she is begging to have her son's attention. This is not the way about it! I really like the kid though, he is well-raised and uses a complex language for his age! i wish him all the best!

Poor, Kid! His mother if forcing him to accept the divoce, but he refuses. It seems, the mother is the real isecure party in this tragic, broken family. She is, perhaps, having trouble facing guilt from the marriage's failure and seeking a new life. She appears to be converting her fears into an assault on the boy.

I think this kid is on a trial and error process with his mom, he's trying to gain power over her (notice the looks on his face after cursing her, this is a questioning look seeking a feedback from her). He has a very simple logic like the old system of all marriage courts, somebody is the wrongdoer and here it's simply the mom. While she's trying to convince him that a system with some cultural background is not working.

Obviously the woman is trying to engage the son in some thought provoking conversation but he's having none of it. Really, too young for this type of conversation although he holds up pretty well for his age and has some simple yet good points.
