I also have the "oslo dvd", ONE COLD WINTER'S NIGHT, and this video is not on there. Disc 2 has March of Mephisto and The Haunting. OCWN predates the Ghost Opera CD - no songs from Ghost Opera are on the DVD. So I'm curious how you have that. Also, this HD video is higher plxel resolution than DVD, so i do not see how it looks better!

I used RealPlayer to upload this video (there are other things you can use, but RealPlayer does it very well) and then I converted to a 1080p file and played it on an HDTV, and it looked terrific. Thanks Kamelot for high quality vids!!

It's because the compression rate on youtube is pretty high. So while the total pixel count supports HD, the overall quality is reduced. Also if you used Full-screen mode it will conform to your monitor's aspect ratio and resolution, which may not match the video.
