I know it's hard for Chinese to understand the concept of AGREEMENT which China SIGNED when it entered the WTO in 2001 but you agreed to trade only if you agreed to let your currently float freely. To this day, China still artificially manipulates its currency to keep it lower than the dollar. So you 'earned' your money by lied, deceit, and VIOLATING YOUR WTO AGREEMENT.

Signing a trade agreement in WTO that ALL countries have agreed to let their currency float as a CONDITION of being admitted to WTO and then NOT doing it is as unfair as you can get. That's what China is doing.

As for NAFTA screwing Mexico, maybe you'd better take a look at the state of the U.S. economy right now. NAFTA has been a boom for Mexico and moved hundreds of huge factories there - from the USA. Mexico has gained by NAFTA and USA has lost - as it always does.

the reason those protests arent covered very much or at all is because those are purely Chinese interests. to be quite frank, the rest of the world doesnt care about labor laws for migrants in China, they care about the labor laws in their own country. Chinese people want to hear about them, and that makes sense because they live there. the main thing that people around the world are interested in concerning China is the Tibetan situation, because of the violence which should be stopped.
