@st4yfOkuZd Hi, the full price for the entire Trance Course is £355 ($570.01 USD). Yes, by the end of the course you should be making full and complete Trance tracks to a very high standard.
For more info on the course just head to the Point Blank Online course brochure.

@jaykimwang The EDM course is develped by 3 different producers so you have a bit of a broader spectrum of approaches to production than the Trance course which was developed by Mike Koglin. In the main, the techniques learnt are very similar accross the two courses. Our course advisor will be happy to go into a bit more detail if you wish. Reach him at luke [at] pointblanklondon [dot] com or +44 (0) 20 7729 4884.
@6supermegatron It is one of the example tracks used on the course. Students are able to download the project file to see exactly how it was put together.
@Diablooicc Hi, we are based in Hoxton, London, but you can take these online courses from anywhere in the world. The link to our website is in the video info if you want to find out more.
is this course aimed at beginners or does it require some some prior knowledge? I've done a beginners logic course before at my local music college but that has only given me a certain amount of skills and I wouldn't say I'm massively confident using the program.
@lawsonoswal Hey, yes we would recommend that you have a good knowledge of Logic before starting this course. We suggest that you should be completing your own tracks before diving in. Maybe have a look at our other Logic courses and if you feel comfortable with the content of them then this course should be okay for you to take. Feel free to contact our course advisors, they're very happy to answer any of your queries.
I have 2 questions. I'm hoping to enroll in this online course sometime soon and I'd like to know if you guys do anything regarding sidechaining? I have a copy of Express 9. Would this course require an upgrade to studio?
@espeed623 If you're interested in sidechaining then you may want to check out the Mixing Dance Music Course. To study the Logic Trance Course then Express will be fine, however we do tend to recommend that students have a copy of Logic Studio and this may be worth while in the longer term.
More information on the equipment/software requirements for the course can be found on our website.
Logic is very Beautiful, produces a very beautiful sound!
Logic has a very similar interface & qualities to Ableton - only that Logic has better shaped angles of the interface; otherwise I find it same as Ableton!
I respect at most the designers of Ableton & Logic ... both are very beautiful programs and can be used to produce astonishing "material", but as always it's about the user and not about the program :) - well, it is also about the software but you know what I mean :P enjoy ppl
@djiannolsen If you make trance or any other electronic music, I would recommend you take a look at our Mixing Dance Music course. It is a comprehensive low-down on how to create a loud and professional sounding mix for the club and it also covers mastering theory too. However most producers out source this step of the production process as mastering is a very specialised skill that requires an extremely experienced ear.
@pointblankonline, yes,but now i don't have enough money to buy an masterization course :( i just buy some products from nexus and spectrasonics and some midi controlers. but i have a question. on trance music, using a virtual instrument is necessary to use the compressor tool from logic pro for all tracks of song?it's possible to take an online course on september because for the moment is economic crisis :/
@djiannolsen There's no hard and fast rule for compression. You don't necessarily have to put compression on every channel. Use your ears and try to listen if that sound really needs it... if you pick the right sounds in the first place with their own space in the mix, then they will often pack more than enough punch without compression. Sorry to hear about your economic crisis! hopefully see you in September.
