macro algea inside a refugium or sump would keep your substrate clean and you should add a 3inch by 3inch piece of algea to the clip each day thats what i do check my vids

both the same reef is heaps more live rock and heaps coral

marine is more fish less coral is does not cost as much less work compare to a reef. i spent 10 years having tanks to learn how to run a A grade reef tank like what i have got is not easy thing people got money ya i spent 10 grand its easy as pie with a week or there stock died they dont understand or testing off water chemstiry ph

Yea it uses that kind of salt you get on your fries at mcdonalds. lol. Very nice cabinetry and custom designing. The fish go well with the LPS tank. Thats a lot of xenias!

Great Tank! I think Triggers are like dogs of the aquarium.. Their behavior is learned, likely by their interactions with other fish, etc.. They are very intelligent! Definitely one of my favorite tanks on here!

Thanks for the nice compliments. That thing is called a sea hare. Interesting sea slug that's supposed to devour green hair algae YMMV.

@apexiapexi Yes indeed they eat all kinds of algae, but careful it doesn't get stuck on a powerhead they can kill everything when they release their toxin while stressed.

The blue throats are catch 22. You need to very carefully observe the fish's behaviour in store before buying one. Some will be aggressive and may eat your shrimp, etc...others will have a gentle personality and be total angels (like mine).
