Chris was one half of Big Star (on classic first album #1 Record only). He then had a posthumous album in 1992 which includes this, I think, and the great 'You and Your Sister' and 'I am the Cosmos.' Well worth searching out I am the Cosmos and all the original BS stuff. He died too young. Car wreck, 1978.

Awe, I heard this song on Nick and Norah's Infinite playist. I loved the sound of it. Searched up the sountrack. thought i'd have to listen to every single song b4 i found it. luckily, first song i looked up to listen to was this one. :)

Well i can give you a list of indie bands which in my opinion are good.

The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, The Bravery, MGMT, The Shins, Pheonix, The Kooks, Vampire Weekend, We Are Scientists, The Submarines, The Silversun Pickups(Although they are more like indie pop). Those are about my favorites.
