did she fly well ? looks very nice :) i like the motor methode of lift on thrust then drop for a cleaner glide ! very clever regards jinx , please check some of my projects regards jinx
I just started yesterday a small model similar to yours with 4mm light balsa wing. Will use 9gr servos (from ebay-many honk kong sellers offer them for about 1-3 dollars a piece). I use normal receiver but discovered that this last one works with small size rechargeable batteries as well--the ones we use in TV remove control often. This makes the plane rather light...Next, if all works, i have to learn do fly downslope on other than simulator:P
The servos are actuators from Microinvent in combinatoin with a reciever also from Microinvent. I don't now if it works with a standard reciever. Agood solution would be also the AR6400 reciever from Spektrum.
can it hover too (^.^) XD

Many thanks, but balsa is too heavy for this plane.

Nice :D!
What kind of servos are these? Are they just electromagnets used as servo? If yes, how do i wire such a thing to the receiver?

Thank you for the compliment! :)
