There are two things going on here: 1) He's a professional broadcaster so he's knowledgeable about diction, etc. but not so baseball savvy, so he doesn't know if it's a ball or a strike from experience. And 2) It's a Japanese game so the scoreboard is hard for him to read; "One yellow light and one blue light...Yellow and blue for dustin." Which leads into 3) Does Japanese baseball have the same rules: "It hit the wall and bounced past the white line, I'm not sure what that means" Priceless!!
