big thanks for this series and the others you've posted. i randomly found your History of Maths via a search for calculus as i was revising after 25 years my high school maths/ physics before doing the recently released MITx 6.002 course in electronic engineering...
this particular video lecture really triggered the right memories of my school-day maths at the right point... even to the point that it's made my higher level physics notes from school (calculus for gravity) possible to read :)
Hey, just found your vids. I've always been very "mathy" but my uni prof for LinAlg was awful and really made the subject boring. I've always kind of felt sad that this is the only math subject I dislike, and have occasionally felt like going back to it to enrich my knowledge. Your video series will let me do that in an enjoyable manner, so thanks!
Thanks for taking the time to post all the videos on your channel.
I did engineering at Uni (and did 4 years of maths as part of the degree). I graduated 16 years ago. One of my new year resolutions this year was to go back over all my maths from Uni. Your channel has helped me to start the process in style!
@njwildberger I did. I am just about to go over Beta and Gamma functions. The maths has got my brain working again! Now that I have got it back to a reasonable level, I've started getting back into Digital Signal Processing (which is all Fourier and Z-plane analysis). I specialised in DSP in my MSc. I can see this turning into a PhD!
Thanks for all the work you do recording and posting all the videos. They are excellent.

@172Break How did that new year resolution go? Hope you managed to renew your interest in the subject.

Hi RSKueffner,
Yes, that is great! So now I am going to go back and post full hour lectures of the entire WildLinAlg series.
