I remember most kids were crazy about it, and they used to tease each other about owning one!

Mine was the European with the red and gray color scheme.

The Zoids where plastic model kits of 'Mecha' dinosaurs and animals with small practical mechanical parts, that were motorized by either a battery or wind-up core engines. You could assemble one (and paint it if you like!) and watch the magic move. =)
