@178thbattlegroup You mean the slow down? Yeah, sadly that was a 4.1 bug. It's fixed in 4.5, which we hope to have out in a few months. I'm personally trying to get get it out by the 2yr (already!?) anniversary of 4.1. Our team is very small and scattered, so it's been hard getting things back on track, especially with the NBCU debacle. Stay tuned!

Still trying to get NBCU to respond to us properly. They avoid us like the plague. We're still working on 4.5, which we hope to have out by the 2yr anniversary of the 4.1 launch (March). So please don't abandon hope :)

@MoOtJeMan They own the IP. If they really wanted, they could sue us outright. We don't have a proper place to host the mod as of this moment, but we're working on it (as well as on the mod itself, and a new website!).

We're still having issues trying to negotiate with NBC to allow Mod DB to re-host the mod. We're still looking into other avenues of delivering Beta 4.5 to everyone. When it's done, we'll let you know! :)

@LtRegBarclay - Actually yeah, I applied there as well as Timegate. I ended up taking the offer at Timegate, since I didn't want to live in the overly-crowded bay area. Also, BSGOnline is the ONLY game at BigPoint worth working on. I didn't want to pigeon-hole myself like that. Thanks for the compliments :)

I really hope you can continue production and release it. I have never seen such detail in any games on those turrets and munitions flying through the air. I haven't even got Nexus, I just found this when looking through Halo: Fleet Command mod. All those people who love EVE, seriously in EVE, all the weapons fire is the same, just different colours.

@jstubbles okay I went to that website and all I get is are these kind of files 20100403Nexus_BSG_Beta_4_1.7z what I am supposed to do next after downloading this file? Am I supposed to unzip it? And the installer should in the unzipped file?

@vbrockmann10 You need 7-zip to open the 7z archive, it's like WinZip and it's free! :) Once you open it, read the README - you just copy the contents to the Nexus/Mods folder.

@Browncoat1984 - by default it's a space based RTS game, sort of like Homeworld I guess you could say. It doesn't function the same way, but it's a good game.

This is stuff that would make RDM proud. Too bad he never sprung for an official PC game like this.

The only improvements I would have suggest are to leave in the ingame sound effects, as well as using another Bear McCreary piece like "Prelude to War"--something with the heavy drums or the like.
