There is Microsoft Office for Mac...Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Entourage...Apple also has similar programs in iWork (Keynote, Pages, and Numbers).

There is infact not a version of AutoCAD for Mac so you will have to install Windows but there is a Backup if you don't want to run Windows get VectorWorks

Not hard at all, just different. iMac is user friendly and every feature has a Help section. I wouldn't go back to PC. Ever.

I changed my keyboard and mouse. One of the keys on the iMac keyboard sticks so I switched. Also, I went with a wireless mouse. Love it!

You can place your remote on the top of the iMac and it should stay put.

1. The Mac Mini allows you to connect to any monitor and does not limit your choices, but it is not as powerful - however, it is the cheapest priced Mac.

I'm pretty sure its the same, apart from the power cable obviously, but a regular computer power cable will do the trick. One other thing you should also check out is if you get an international warranty on desktop computers. I know you do on ipods and laptops, pretty sure you would on the imac too but its worth checking.
