  • i love it

  • i love this

  • i love this song like i love love love love love love love love

  • i love this

  • As @Peopleselbow246 said, I was born in '96, and I wish I was born in '51. I wish I had the opportunity to see the non-druggy version of Elvis perform. I do love, however, how many people from my generation listen to Elvis and shares the love of him as I do, just like some listen to Dean-O, Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, and even Marvin Gaye. I find it amazing, and I still see some hope for real music in the future, especially with people like Seth McFarlane with an amazing voice.

  • The most fake guitarsolo in history?

  • Is that Marty McFly??? Hands up if ya came here fr Tom Waits

  • This had to have been back when Elvis was still into the movie career. It's a great freaking version.

  • justin bieber>the beatles>unknown singer>unknown single>error-1>elvis

  • @soURfunnyYOUthink What are you trying to say?that jb is bigger than the beatles?don,t make me laugh some americian concert organisers when organising sercuritey would say "There has never been nothing like this these guys are bigger than Elvis"

  • @MrMGD92 did i studder?

  • @soURfunnyYOUthink Other way around :P

List should've started with Elvis and then error-1 then so on xD

  • TCB

  • 41 people are blind death and crazy

  • i actually found an elvis song i like. never thought would happen

  • i was born in 1990, but, i like 50's music, Elvis Presley and Little Richard are my favorites

Elvis Presley, the father of the modern music

  • i was born in 1996 and this make me with i lived then just so i could be in the same age as the king

  • One of Elvis' best?? I think so! :D

  • Notre KING !!!! Trop BEAU !!! Je revis mes 16 Ans !!!! Unes MERVEILLE !!!

  • I can't stop smiling when i look -and listen!- at this!!!

Memories from long time ago... Mmmmmm

  • possibly his best performance next to if i can dream on national tv

  • Shit! No thumbs up... Fuck need to find something smart and funny to say quick! Uhm.. Snap! Can't think of anything... So close.

  • classic

  • Watch "George Harrison meets Elvis Presley for the 2nd time" on you tube..

Elvis was such a great interpreter of songs. what did Sinatra, Pavarotti or Callas write? True artistry isn't defined by whether or not one writes songs or not. Some write songs that should stay in their heads... No comparison...

"Before Elvis, there was nothing" John Lennon

  • Amazing.

  • Elvis is indeed one of the greatest and a lot of youngsters know who The Beatles are. Chuck Berry is know through his song being used in Back to the future and many other bands are well know. This era bought the best out in artists and still does to this day:)

  • Nja da kan wel kloppe Nja

  • the billboard 100 has Elvis Presley at 129 million cds sold at number #2. Second only two the beetles. But let us be fair there were no such a thing as cd's during Elvis's life time. LP Record sales for Elvis are at 1.5 Billion more than any Artist or group in History as noted by the recording industry with a 5 foot Award sitting at Grace Land go see it for yourself. And that's a fact.

  • @letloverule77 I thought Elvis sold 2 billion which is more beleaveable when you consider 2 billion wached his comeback on tv.also the beatles sold 1.7 billion.

  • @MrMGD92 it was 1.5 Billion watched the Aloha from Hawaii Concert. I know i watch it when it was first broadcast via Satellite.

  • @letloverule77 o,h my mistake.

  • Elvis' best movie!

  • Elvis is alive. Really freakin old, but he's still here.. and I bet he could still rock if he wanted to.

  • GREAT TO SEE ELVIS SO "ANIMATED"! THANKS,TOM D.

  • OH MY GOD,how is he soooo amazing !! :)

  • DANG HE WAS HOT!!!

  • @elvis4ever1935 he is the king, what else did you expect? ;)

  • WOW 19 and can say that he was amazing for his time

  • God Bless you Elvis... TCB

  • he was lipsynching, sry guys

  • @mentrios lol no he wasn't, the sound is just put over the top of the video to make it better quality. Lip syncing was incredibly rare at that time in music.

  • @iamashleymarie yeah youre right he wasnt. but i think he faked the guitar playing sometimes, like the solos and stuff. still the king though

  • If youtube was around when Elvis started he would have been more hated than Rebecca Black. But anyway, this clip is movie history.

  • rock stars come and rock stars go but there was only one king

  • @brightwellwine61 Sorry, I was thinking of Buddy Holly. Chuck Berry's ok, but he doesn't have the longevity of Elvis, most youngsters won't hear of him other than a name on a quiz show or something.

  • If it's possible for a person to achieve perfection - Elvis Presley did it

    many times.

  • This is throw a way rock/pop music - meaningless tosh that Elvis didn't even write. Give me Buddy Holly anytime

  • @brianandrewstuart Buddy Hooly "none of us would have made it without Elvis"

  • Freddie Mercury is king of kings

  • "...from whence things derive." Who are you, Gandalf?

  • @NeuralNetProcessor You, sir, have won the internet.

  • lol sbs6 :P

  • Elvis is the King of Rock and Roll, and has nothing at all to do with rock.

  • 1:03 he played so good that the guitar started to smoke from how awesome Elvis is :)

  • Comment removed

  • Does he even know how to play the guitar

  • @The09aking yes!

  • @The09aking Yeah, he could play. Watch his Comeback Special, does quite a bit of playin' there. He wasn't BB King, but he could do more than mimic.

  • MJ told MTV they could air his videos only if they anounced him as the King Of Pop.It was his Idea, not anyone elses.I damn sure never considered him that, and I dont think alot of others did.Elvis or the Beatles never gave anyone an ultimatum to be addressed a certain way.The people called them them that.Big differance.

  • HE DIDN'T EVEN PLAY THE SOLO LMAO...the dude in the shadows is your "king" hahahahahaha

  • what does (p)elvis know about creole??? and this dude had talent but NO FLAVOR OR SOUL, he was a stagnant robot...Mike had more talent in his pinky toe than (p)elvis ever COULD have had even with practice...he's a copycat entertainer thats why he's so easily imitated today... Mike is imitated, but nobody gets it quite right. And really, James Brown, Jackie Wilson, Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters ALL as individuals, did what (p)elvis thought he was master of, WAYYYYY better than him.

  • @lionvein Are you kidding me? Elvis did not consider himself king. The entire world did. Elvis' hawaii concert had more veiws on the t.v. than the moon landing. Elvis is not a copycat entertainer, because he's the one who invented the style. Michael, was only a participator of pop. Michael even married Elvis' daughter. Elvis was the inventor of rock and roll. He inspired all of the newer sensations (ie. the beatles) So, suck it bitch. Elvis is the king and always will be.

  • @bigmens123456789 I'm sorry buddy but the "entire world" you refer to was so closed back then that if you weren't caucasian, you got 0 credit FROM caucasians and thus was NOT the entire world. (p)elvis was the king of mainstream(caucasian) marketing in the 50's and that's it. People who love him today are sheep who don't research, or care, from whence things derive. And you know who ALSO inspired the beatles? Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley, Little Richard and Chuck Berry. Be individuals, not sheep.

  • @lionvein racist idiot, read some history and stop crying because whitie steasl your lunch money

  • @lionvein dude who fucking cares Elvis still rules, King Creole is one of his most badass songs, and you are a douchebag

  • @lionvein some if his best friends were black, james brown loved elvis.chuck berry was a jail bird. don'y even compare him to Elvis.

  • what does (p)elvis know about creole??? and this dude had talent but NO FLAVOR OR SOUL, he was a stagnant robot...Mike had more talent in his pinky toe than (p)elvis ever COULD have had even with practice...he's a copycat entertainer thats why he's so eaily imitated today... Mike is imitated, but nobody gets it quite right. And really, James Brown, Jackie Wilson, Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters ALL as individuals, did what (p)elvis thought he was master of, WAYYYYY better than him.

  • around 1:20 if you look at Elvis's lips during the solo he seems like he is saying "for fun"

  • plus he slept with Ann Margaret. That puts him very far in the lead ahead of all these other posers!!

  • Probably Elvis' best acting role -had he not got trapped into making those wretched 'travelogues' and pursued a more serious form of acting he might actually have been pretty good at it. This was one of my first records - played it till it wore out. At 1.38 you see Elvis looking over his shoulder and smiling at Scotty who is really playing the solo in the background.

  • Even then he was better than anyone is today.

  • He still alive to me... :) Even 34 years after his death, he still rocks... :D

  • @data1947 u are a disgrace to any human why dont u do us all a favour and play with the trains and lets hope

  • It was 34 years ago today on that cold ,dark morning while doing my paper round I delivered the news that Elvis Presley had died at the age of 42. I for one was Gutted.

  • Elvis isking of music.

  • Correct, there is no comparison,Wacko was a lightweight 'pop-pedlar' of very dubious nocturnal bed-arrangements,Sir Elvis of Presley was a colossus, capable of any musical-genre.... and a very kind and generous man, lord keep him...the other freak will be stoking the fires of Hades.

  • for those of yuo not in the yo mickeal owns the big ep.

  • Who's the honey pie at 1:09 dark haired lady looks like Sophia Loren=one of the all-time best looking chicks on the silver screen

  • @micmoable her name is Joselyn Garner

  • @micmoable I made that name up I actually have no idea.

  • @farhannius ha ha--you had me going there--ha--------have a good day and I'll still wonder who she really was or is---ha ha

  • MY MAN

  • KIng Creole is smaller than you, king of rock ;)

  • LONG LIVE THE KING!! TOO BAD HE NEVER PLAYED ABROAD THE US, THANKS FOR THAT CORONEL.

  • I Got this on 78.. great song

  • @Festivephone1979 you again?! All that hate is bad for your heart....go talk a walk, see the sun, and just relax

  • @Festivephone1979 They don't they worship Elvis Presley instead.

  • Michael is the PRINCE of POP.

Elvis is the KING of ROCK.

King is above prince, rock is above pop.

So. I think we can all agree on a winner, here? ;)

  • @despina013 I agree. love elvis!!!

  • @efrainvalbuena are you nuts or too young? elvis was and still is the best.

  • @deebeehead1 I only need to know something about music, im not just other lamb...

  • @despina013 They're both Kings of their own land. I love Presley, but Jackson is great, too. They're uncomparable.

  • Comment removed

  • @despina013 Michael Jackson shouldn't even be compared to Elvis. There is no comparison.

  • @despina013 the beatles are the kings of ROCK

  • @m16BO It seems I neglected to respond to your post; sorry.

Anyway, I love The Beatles. However, they're the kings of *rock* not *rock-and-roll*. The two genres are actually, in my opinion, kind of different.

  • @despina013 michael is king of pop and elvis rocknroll.. why comparing?

  • @vclch I was simply stating my opinion on the matter. It is a free country. I have a right to compare. If you don't like it, then don't read it, and move on.

  • @vclch There is no comparison. The two cannot be compared cause Elvis was is and will always be in a league of his own.

  • @despina013 oh shut up. and listen to the music

  • @vclch Hey, you started it. ;)

  • @despina013 And Chuck berry is the GOD

  • @despina013 isn't Michael the KING of POP?

  • @anDUHrs /sigh/

I think I just explained several times that I was stating my opinion -- *my* opinion -- that I myself enjoy Elvis Presley's music better than Michael Jackson's, thus I outlined the idea that Michael was prince of something, and Elvis was king of something, and Elvis was a king -- so naturally he was better.

Like I've said numerous times, I was only stating my opinion: That Elvis is better than Michael, regardless of genre. I do, however, greatly enjoy Thriller.

  • @anDUHrs Not really, based on achivements in pop music the real king is Sir Paul McCartney. Elvis remains the king of rock n roll.

  • @despina013 No, Absolutely not! Have you ever heard any song of MJ?

  • @rodgermourtagh Yes. I actually like several of his -- mostly the faster-paced ones -- and I think he's one of the greatest dancers ever to walk the face of the earth. I like more of Elvis's music than I do Michael Jackson's, but I *do* like Michael Jackson's music, as well.

  • @despina013 Great choice of words buddy :)

  • @despina013 Freddie Mercury is the God of rock!

  • @wehatemagz Lol, yes, Freddie Mercury is pretty cool. :)

  • @despina013 Yes except where does Buddy holly fit in?

  • @despina013 great logistics...Elvis wins

  • @despina013 King of Rock? With rock, there's loads of others who're miles better in that category Eg. Freddie Mercury.

As for King of Rock and Roll - Chuck Berry by a clear cut mile. As John Lennon once said "if you tried to give rock and roll another name, you might call it 'Chuck Berry'. Without trying to slate Elvis, he's certainly a lot more over rated in parts of the US compared to the rest of the world.

  • @SebJS74 Which is why John Lennon said Elvis was the reason he got into music? You aren't giving Elvis enough credit. Chuck Berry wouldn't have been half as famous if he didn't die young, yet Elvis was performing to 10 million people before he died.

  • @justin26UK Chuck berry's still alive

  • @SebJS74 Does Chuck Berry have a radio station that only plays his songs? I think not.

  • @SebJS74 Elvis is the king.

    Period.

  • @elvis4ever1935 Ok, he can be king. But king of rock? Nahhhh ;)

  • @SebJS74 He is the King Of Rock!

  • @SebJS74 yeah but john lennon talked a lot of crap...he also said " before elvis there was nothing" well wich is it??? chuck berry came before elvis...so what was he talking about...my guess is the same as usual...a load of scouse rubbish.

elvis continues to outsell all those people you mention tenfold...and he had a charisma so big he could sing the weather forecast and it would be number one. u may say it's your opinion. but they are like arseholes everyone has one just dont talk out of it.

  • @mrbarleymob Outsold queen? Are you being serious?
