Just loaded a 2.2 Rom on my Hero. It's awesome. Had Fresh 2.3 (an Android 2.1 based Rom) went to a more stock Rom (2.1) but overclocked the processor. Finally found a decent, stable 2.2 Rom, and it's great. One of the best parts of having the 'Fresh 2.3' Rom was the 270* rotation. And it's also on 2.2 so that's great.

@DjN1K0N Well droid 1 original 600 mhz underclock by motorola. That really can run 800mhz without added kernal meaning motorola could of clock it to 800mhz. They didnt due to the battery issue, u can read it up if u want and 200mhz isnt too much of speed because droid 1 can be overclock up until 1.4ghz in 2.2 os . It was second android phone that was running 1ghz, beside the nexus one with a modded kernal.

@mnfdsng T-mobile is selling outdated and overpriced without contract phones. verizon is better and if u see specs is cheapter too expect their monthly payment. g2,mt4g,defy and vibrant all of these phones has 1.2gb internal storage and came out in october-nov. expect vibrant. Now Verizon have Droid incredible since Late april it better t-mobile lineup 7.4gb internal memory same memory is found droid x/2 wth 7.4gb internal memory.

I'm an iPhone user and I love it, not just because its apps, because iPhones are iPhones. on my unlocked mytouch 4g, the software version is listed as 2.2.1, does it mean its not 2.2 froyo ? if so then how do i upgrade ?

@hoodfigga33 mytouch 4g is using htc sence, not 2.2 froyo, you can upgrade by rooting your phone and changing the rom to cm7.

Ok so I am able to see the contact picture of whom i am texting.. but when i reply back i just see a grey square and not my contact picture that i have on my gmail.. is there a way to get the picture of yourself instead of the grey square? i just got the ota update 2.2 froyo

@mnfdsng T-mobile is selling outdated and overpriced without contract phones. verizon is better and if u see specs is cheapter too expect their monthly payment. g2,mt4g,defy and vibrant all of these phones has 1.2gb internal storage and came out in october-nov. expect vibrant. Now Verizon have Droid incredible since Late april it better t-mobile lineup 7.4gb internal memory same memory is found droid x/2 wth 7.4gb internal memory.

@mnfdsng original droid 1 to have 2.3 os. I already can hack 2.3 os but I don't like custom roms. Moto isn't slow with update like sammy. I like htc better but not with slow t-mobile. Selling outdated specs from 2009 and early 2010 android devices.

@mnfdsng I could of said that. Samsung is doing to you guys, what they did with behold 2 users, taking their sweet ass time. They suck even motorola is better at least they update the cliq 2.1 os instead 1.6 os like behold 2. Don't buy samsung if you not rooting. I have motorola droid 1 since july, really haven't miss anything from t-mobile. G2 has similar if not same specs as original droid minus 1gb internal storage. With hack u can fix that on droid. Motorola is taking about updating.

I don't get it. What are you fighting for? Apple dominate its platforms, Android is a free market. Actually me as a CONSUMER, I don't even notice what these people are talking about. I'm an iPhone user and I love it, not just because its apps, because iPhones are iPhones. You can see a Galaxy S and don't pay attention to it, on the other hand you see an iPhone and you can tell it's an iPhone. Everybody knows what's an iPhone and probably they'd envy you :P
