@Hav58 yea...the open world area def does...like ff3 as well...all great games...snes and ps1 were my favorite systems so far..this next gen stuff is great but the focus is mainly on graphics....graphics alone dont make games great

Demon's Crest is one of the best games ever conceived. It has a good soundtrack, a good atmosphere and a really badass true final boss.

i got this ending, but i have yet to beat the dark demon after you get the ultimate gargoyle armor

he's so freaking hard, its like you're not supposed to beat him

i love this game though, you can tell the makers put a lot of soul into it. the whole experience to me is even spiritual

I don't know how they did that back in those days, but the music is magical - not like the orchastrated random feel backround music. To me that soundtrack is epic and a big part of the game - not an addition.

Yes music in today's (big PC) games feels really kinda random and out of place. Just very much in the background, more ambient than music, feels like needless addition.

Game music back in the days of 8-bit and 16-bit was indeed magical. Was about memorable melodies and great harmonies. Today they all sound the same to me. I can't memorize them or whistle them, a shame really. Hopefully good game music will come back!

You get a password at the end of the credits if you get 100% items collected (all velums, flasks, talismens, and health upgrades) that gives you the Ultimate Gargoyle, the pleasure of fighting all the level boses, and the chance to fight the Dark Demon for the true ending of the game. BTW, HE'S TOUGH AS HELL!

this was a great game in its day and still is one of my all time favorites.

I hope this game is released on the Wii's Virtual Console. I still remember when Capcom releasing this game a while back with very low quantity. It was a very hard game to find in the stores and I was never fortunate enough to owning this some what rare gem.

This game needs to be put on the Wii's Virtual Console. I played this when it first came out, Capcom released this game with very low numbers as it was very hard to to find. I mainly rented it but I was never fortunate enough to own it. Lets hope this will be released on the virtual console as well.
