well Non of you here know what you are talking about.. I am a trucker here in the states ,I am an owner operator like justin. I run out of miami ,FL to Bronx,NY it's about 1,200 miles with a reefer trailer and get paid any where from $2,800 to as much as $3,800. depending on the time of year and then about $2,000. back down . after fuel I put $3,000. in my pocket for four days of work I do that twice a month...

Yeah after fuel. But what about road tax, maintenance, tyres, repairs, recovery insurance, leasing fees or funds put to one side to purchase new truck when too old, truck stops. Id guess that would reduce your $3000 to $300 pretty quick?

You have no idea what you are talikng about.. I put a little over 130k clean in my pocket last year with out a collage education.. granted not every driver makes money .. ONLY THE SMART ONES..

@kolakube123 depends on what they haul. general freight company drivers only make 45-55k a year. Owner operators doing specialized can make over 200k a year. If they do luxury car transport they can make even more, as can government contract drivers. The gov contract drivers that i talk to every couple weeks are paid $92.50 an hour for every hour they are under contract(from dispatch until delivery).

and how much in USA ... in USA 700 $ ... plus in USA they do not pay you on weight . Some truckers make good money while 80% drive cheap freight , and could not get over 1500 $ a week with their own truck ...

That is a  fact ... especially now in these times.

-- PLUS to make some money you need ,, to drive 1000 miles a day ----(1600 km) ,, now you need to be a machine . for 1000 miles you make 400 $ , and you need 20 hours of driving , that is what some companies require from YOU .

IT is not fun TRUST ME ,. as it looks. I drive Team 5100 miles in 5 days ,,, 8160 km

in 5 days , you get 950 $ for this ...

EUROPEAN trucks are made for a HUMAN BEING ,

lets take VOLVO 660 in USA , it is like a MERCEDES and all other trucks are YUGO

VOLVO , engine noise very very LOW ,

VOLVO , steering very easy , and precise

KEnworth after 10 years driving KENWORTH you will go deaf , and your back will be ready for replecement,

Hatte ich vor Jahren im Fersehen auf Kabel1 gesehen und dachte das muss ich allen Truckern zeigen. Bei dem Preis würde ich auch öfter waschen um im Stau auf der A1 gut auszuschauen........
