  • Post more videos I'm about to start learning Arabic next week!

  • @aznien9 You can find more videos on my website: arabic-studio DOT c o m

  • how do you write the words in this video? it's calligraphy! i'm learning to use the Arabic qwerty keyboard in Mac, but still find it very hard to type.

  • @einsamaberfrei

hey, I have mac and I have an Arabic keyboard in it. Just simply

    - Open ( System perfectness )

    - go to ( language and texts )

    - Then click on ( Input sources ) at the very right top.

Than you'll find a list of languages at the left. in a box.

Look for ( Arabic ) and click it as a choice. and it will be on your language list,

that you can use on your mac :)

If you have the little flag Icon at the top right of your screen. click on it and you'll find Arabic.

  • why did you add (shadah) to the letter R in alrajolo, and why didn't you add it to alkitabo and alwalado?

  • @saadmerhi1 That's because the laam of AL elides into the raa of RAJUL. For more on elision, may want to watch Lesson 5 of my course Reading and Writing the Arabic Script, which you can access from my YouTube Channel.

  • أي شخض أو أي رجل أو أي إنسان يريد ان يحادثني باللغة العربية لكي اساعده على تحسينها

انا من المملكة العربية السعودية من المدينة المنورة بإمكاني مساعدة اي شخص

  • What about the words for she and it?

  • what does 'waadi' mean? can it be used as a sort of confirmation?

  • @dromycatcher

    or I think it's 'aadi'

  • salaam can someone please tell me the program this brother is using?

  • Comment removed

  • I've subscribed. I'll be using this as I progress with my Rosetta Stone lessons. When you say you have a book, what are you referring to? Is it open for the public to buy, and if so, where can I find it?

  • @yameyameyame You can purchase it on my website arabic-studio DOT c o m

  • this is really cool . i already know how to make nominal sentences . but i have a question . Is classical arabic still spoken ???? because i want to speak the language to other arabs . are there many differences from modern to classical???

  • @REDMACHINE555 Don't worry, everybody understands classical Arabic, if not, every country has its own dialect.

  • This is awesome... I've been using Rosetta Stone for a few weeks to get started with learning Arabic, and was a bit confused as to why the words kept changing. I really like the whole immersion thing RS uses, but some things need explanation. This video really helped. I guess I should use this channel as a supplement! Thank you.

  • I want to travel someday to the Middle East & N. Africa

  • Allah reward you my brother

  • i have a question....do you think the name "idarza" (ee-dar-za) can be translated into arabic characters? that name is pronounced in spanish by the way.

  • @hectorweii Yes,and here it is : إيدارثا

  • watch?v=ZR4Yi-cV63g

  • Thank you so much for this video. I really want to learn this beautiful language! :)

  • i think tanwiin is not really important for beginners, i am arabic and i dont use it when i speak, and rarely use it when writing, when u want to translate " a boy" into arabic u just translate the word boy and forget about a, this is what we do

  • scared me at 2:20

you can make it easy to learn Arabic

    وفقك الله

  • That had to be the best tut, hard subject but good explaining = simple

  • You are good at explaining but you move on so fast that I forget what you said 5 secs ago :)

  • EEhh! why is every learn arabic video have to show how to write it. I wanna learn how to speak it first. It seems like there's just too much to learn to write it at the same time.

  • you're a good teacher but you are talking way too fast.

  • the word for IS in arabic is the "Althama" ُ

  • This is definetly easier than latin. Thank you.

  • @LearnArabicTV Inshaa Allah he will upload more sooner or later : ) me too am learning but I don't rely on a single resource cos i want comprehensive knowledge of the language =)

  • i wish i could write arabic!

  • Would you always put a tanwín over a sun letter when making it definite ? if so, can you explain why. shukran .

  • @Taffy1974 The tanween goes on the final letter of the word to make it indefinite. This is not always the case, but is a useful beginners rule.

  • @arabicdashstudio Thank you very much.

  • @arabicdashstudio

    im lost, too early!

  • @Taffy1974 is this basically asking what i was going to ask ...

Why is there a tanwin over the khabar? wouldnt that be like saying the door is a wide?

great videos thought. really are helping me a ton. my dad is arab and i need to be able to talk to my family over seas when we go to visit!

  • wwwmadinaharabiccom

  • may Allah rewards you.

  • Lets keep this secular please. I am trying to learn arabic here not have a debate over religion. So if theres any arguements please let it only be about the language.

  • My Gosh you're a genious

  • i fear for the muslims it is said they will not be accepted into heaven for not believing in christ, which bothers me, because i love muslim history, INSHALLA!!!! AND PRAISE SAL AL DIN.

  • @northkoreanwar01 Oh we believe in Jesus Christ. We just don't believe he is a God or a part of God.

  • awesome teacher

  • well atleast am impressed....nice job, keep it up :)

  • heeuhhh

  • Arabic is so hard and weird!

    P.S: peace :P

  • @TheBadameco lol :P Haha. Don't worry buddio, you're safe here. I'll protect you!

  • Thanks

  • wow you are so good at teaching mashallah. this video has cleared up a lot of confusions i had from looking at other videos and websites. jazakAllah

  • Good teacher.is very easy to understand this.

  • jazarkalllah for the video its much more informative than some other videos made by arab tarts clearly just flirting with the camera, pathetic.

  • excellent...mumtazz!!

  • Is this Lesson 1??? But I can't even read those curly swirly letters... :-(

  • @SuperSmilingSmiley This is the 1st grammar lesson - for the alphabet, search for "Learn Arabic - Lesson 1 (Part 1) - The Arabic Alphabet", also available from my website arabic-studio DOT c o m

  • @arabicdashstudio Oh ok, I'm going there right now.... Thanks

  • @arabicdashstudio Do you have some tips for me to remember the right words with the English words?

  • @BruceBufferFTW You can find some tips on vocab learning from my website arabic-studio DOT c o m

  • @SuperSmilingSmiley

    Lol, I second that notion.

  • you sould teach with out tanwen in the first

  • @TheDerstar That cannot be done, because most indefinite nouns end in tanwin. The Madinah Arabic Seies is very good, it is used at Madinah, and teaches the indefinite nouns with tanween. Another error many arabs are doing is pronouncing the jeem like a french J . Jeem i like jay ja ji ju, not zha zhi zhu. What is tfrench influence????

  • Wow well done mashaallah!! I'm an Arab but I think ur vids are so informative!! your pronunciation and grammar are really good unlike the others on youtube!! keep on going!! Fi amanillah

  • Tis very very good programe

  • This is so hard.

  • Alhamdulillah you teach in such basic way that it's understandable and nonintimidating.

  • @Ninialiindaaa08 not harder than physics!!!

  • I wonder how could16 people dislike such a well-explained, awesome video!!

  • @girlie786 they dislike muslims

  • Thank you!!! Learning arabic's my passion... But the problem is, they offer courses for ulimas only in the place where i live... But i am relieved having such awesome videos at home!!! Thank you.. Jazakallah!! salam!

  • ASlk bro, i am learning arabic and alhum du lillah i am getting great help from the way you teach. keep it up. May Allah reward you for the same.

  • i never thought that the Tanween is an indication of the indefinite noun! thanks for the vid

  • Jazakhullair Heer for your wonderful videos!!

  • O my god! This is hard..!!!! Why !!

  • @Ninialiindaaa08 For sure, I've looked at how a lot of languages work and Arabic and Hindi are tied for hardest.

  • @Ninialiindaaa08 lol.. if you practice trust me it gonna get better ;-)

  • great video, where did ya get tha hat?

  • @hellhasgone01

its a Kufi :D. I notice Muslim/Middle easterners wear them. Middle eastern stores might have em.

  • @Lusa5 oh kool. whered you put my pass bro?

  • omg . gd luck arab learners :)

  • So it just goes from mubtada to khabar instantly without the "is," I like it, it's very straight to the point. Perhaps someone can assist me, how does one spell the word for "wide" in Arabic with roman letters?

  • @SoldatSolutrea "wide" is waasi' - the apostrophe ending represents the letter 'ayn.

  • You must slow down and speak very clearly.

  • Damn... first... a i dont speak english perfecly, and i cant get all that you say... second... I cant get the arabic.. I cant read, I cant write, i cant handle this jaja... Im in panic

  • Zenga Zenga !

  • im learning arabic because i want to hifz Quran

  • @smartyxxxtv good luck :)

  • so tough

  • I love your arabic writing...very neat considering its done on computer!

    Love the arabic language!

  • This is why I love Egyptian Arabic, much more streamlined!

  • Masha"Allah u explain it ver good!! I want to teach arabic so that I can correctly read Quran insha"Allah!!!

  • You are really very good at explaining! Thumbs up!

  • This is brilliant. very helpful

  • I'll bet the kids in school take a hella long time writing papers !

  • @CxxShep Well, we don't used the Tanwin nor the Harakat which called vowel. However, with time and many grammar rules you will know how to read the word w/o them.

  • @CxxShep Not really lol. Native speakers write arabic without all of the diacritical marks above and below the letters.

  • @CxxShep they do when u was little i use to learn arabic and i have so many papers to write i was like grade 1

  • Very helpful.

I'm starting a series on Arabic as well.

  • am from Saudi Arabia so this is my native tongue .. and i studied linguistics

and i believe this is amazing,

although my major is teaching English as a second language, i would love to do what you are doing now .. teaching Arabic as a second language,

if i were to give an extra credit session for my BA students i would recommend doing lessons in the same fashion as yours ..

    bless you !

  • VERY helpful! Jazak Allah kheir.

  • excellent piece!

  • I found " THE GOLDEN BOOK OF ARABIC" search on you tube indispensable in my first year of learning Arabic. It’s the first book that taught me correct pronunciation, without any need for CDs/CD player. Worth every penny Covers almost all part of Arb grammar, most of the sentences needed in daily life Other books totally lacked that I ll keep it n use it for life Verb index alone is worth the price of the book. Many useful verb tables with their uses, that you wont find in any other books.

  • than`s a lot for lesson may Allah bless you .... ameen

  • than`s a lot

  • I'm french and I learn arabic, thank you for this clear lesson!

  • @axeshred

its the arabic gulf not the persian

there is no persian gulf by the way

i dont know why iranians are faking the name

but try to tell that for people

  • it wasnt even another bin laden vid :D

    just kidding, good vid

  • Gosh, Arabic is so complex it's awesome! Thanks for the lesson! I ship over to the Persian Gulf AUG 2011. So I have a long way to go. Cheers!

  • @axeshred do u wanna know what's even more complex ? Arabs dont speak with each other in this form of arabic u are learning called fus-ha . Arabs talk with each other in a different form called am-i-ya. Ex: Al waladu Kabeeron in fus-ha becomes il walad kbeer in Am-i-ya. But bothand mean the boy is big. However if u speak with arabs in the fus-ha and u look lkike a foreigner, they will anwser back in fus-ha and u will understand. So it's OK if u dont understand arabs when they talk to each other

  • Thank you for the lesson.

  • thankyou for this great video!i'v been trying to learn arabic for about a year and am still struggling to get my head around it! but i found this video very useful, may Allah bless you for your efforts.

  • i wonder what languages are easy for arabic-speaking people

  • @howe92,

Probably languages like Urdu and also other Semitic language like Aramaic and Hebrew.

  • @howe92 english :)

  • @howe92 trust me its not i'v been learning it for 13 years now and i lived in arabic country for 13 years also and really i know a really tiny thing about grammar in arabic it's so complicated thanks god i'm done and threw with learning it ugh it's so annoying but still it's good to know how to speak ,read and write in it it's a big language so yeah good luck with that!

  • wow you are a good teacher, you make it so easy

  • Actually most Chinese would disagree with You. Cantonese is a lot harder to learn than Mandarin for this reason because its more colorful language and better at expressing intimacy. That's why Mandarin speakers struggle to learn Cantonese in Hong Kong. I not only talking about mandarin but Chines language in general is filled with too much English words from technical terms to science jargons, and especially abbreviations. It happens to every other language around world too, due globalisation.

  • Thanks for doing this!

Maybe if more westerners took the time to learn something other than shopping strategies, we might all get along better :D

  • @GtheMVP Yet how many Arabic people can speak Chinese? lol

  • I can't read arabic so I have to rewind all the time. You could use english letters aswell or a pronuciation key.

  • @arabicdashstudio Are you muslim?

  • Barak allahu fik for the videos.. they are very helpful for me :)

  • Really good teacher.

  • so helpful. we learned this in class about a month ago and it's so great to see it on here in a more simplified manner. Thanks :)

  • this really good. i cant speak in arabic but i can read and write ..

  • Come and learn Arabic with Maysoor. Type in Maysoor into YouTube and enjoy ;)

  • I really want to learn. I will check out your other videos and subscribe. Thanks!

  • I'm guessing this is like classic traditional arabic right? I just moved to Jordan and most people speak Jordanian arabic which is more slang. Theres a big difference

  • @VaRietyTecH JORDANIANS FOR LIFE :D. and no our arabic is the "traditional one along with saudi arabia because the bedouin were here before lebanon and morroco and all that. Lebanese arabic for example is pretty much furthest away from traditional because of the westernized culture which changed their dialect. So to get to the point Jordan and Saudi Arabia are the closest to original arabic.

  • First of all Asalamo Alikom!

Itsa fantanstic explination, for beginners and interested to learn arbic, like me.

tnx brother, god save u in his grace.

  • really helpful and a good biggener lesson... good work..
