  • I didnt catch were he ran the wires from the front LED strips . also are the wires long enough to reach that far or do they have extensions??

  • @R1maneeVA

He just ran the wires from the from strips with the factory wires, no extensions are needed each strip features 5 feet of wire. If you have any more questions, let me know!

  • Has anyone tried a secondary power source? I'd rather not risk draining a battery in the middle of nowhere.

  • @clusterbomb12

You can also use an inline switch, that would work as well.

  • hey i ordered a kit from u guys and the fuse u have in the video isnt on my kit. so i just have to hook up the wires with the battery and thats it? it doesnt have any loops or leads in the end of the wires to install onto the battery..wats up with that man..please advise....by the way i ordered the 8pc million color usb connected kit.

  • @MindApplication

The add-a-circuit does not come with the kit unfortunately, but you can purchase that on our site or at a local auto parts store. It will make your installation a lot easier.

  • that is sexy

ima get those when i fix my dirtbike

  • I've heard if you connect directly to the battery.. if you don't ride for a few days.. it drains the battery because the control box is on standby!! is there a way around it? do you guys offer a waterproof on/off switch? Thank you.

  • @gixxer51450

It will draw a small amount of power, but can take a while to draing your battery. Installing any after market switch would take care of this issue for you. We are working to resolve this issue. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask!

  • can you have a tutorial video for a harley? cause i wanna get them but i have no idea where the wires would go through

  • @darlox4eva

WE are in the process of filming new videos so stay tuned. For a Harley we recommend running the wires with your factory wires using the included zip ties. Just need to keep the wires about 6 inches away from any direct heat source. If you have any other questions just ask, I'm happy to help.

  • Great!! I will order this product soon for my 2011 gixxer 750

  • Also wanna know if I can install it on a 2011 Honda CBR125R? Asking because of the battery size of the motorcycle.

  • @Kismisa

As long as it is a 12 volt system, you will have no problem installing this kit.

  • @ledglow Thanks!

  • Where can I buy those lights which comes with the remote control and with everything we saw on the video?

  • @Kismisa

LEDGlow.com then click on the left Motorcycle LED Lights graphic. If you have any other questions, just ask!

  • I have 6 12" light strips, and nothing else. Is there a way to wire these up to the inside and outside of my car and have them turn on with the car?

  • @nastjohn802

Yes you can definitely do that, you would just need to connect the wires to any switched 12 volt source. Doing this will turn on the strips when ever you turn your vehicle on!

  • i have a 2001 honda cbr f4i 600 i have this same kit but in red and if i attach the led strip to the plastic fenders on my bike will taking the plastics off after they are on be difficult

  • @thaskins11

You would just have to disconnected the power wire from the control box before pulling off the plastics so the wires do not get damaged.

  • When you have theses on a car for interior with the wireless remote, does the car have to be on or keys in it for them to turn on?

  • @JUSTADDCHEESE

You can wire this kit to a constant 12 volt source, like your battery, and it you will be able to power it without having the keys on. If you have any other questions, just ask!

  • umm question, where do you get these?

  • @Cameron12345678100

Head to LEDGlow.com and you will see Motorcycle Lights on the left hand column. If you need anything else let me know.

  • Do u think people will easily steal these kind of light kit while u r parking in a parking lot ?

  • @S9025

It would be very difficult for someone to steal this off of your bike, I have never heard of that happening.

  • is this illegal on a motorcycle?

  • @Pier2pie

Legality of these lights vary from state to state. Usually they are ok since they give riders added visibility when riding at night, but just to be sure I would check with your local police department.

  • What happens to the wires?

  • @JohnDincontro

They all go to the control box, which should be mounted under your seat.

  • @ledglow Thanks i dont own a motorcycle yet im looking to buy the Ninja 250R And put under glow, devil eyes and the spinning leds on the rims.

  • Does LEDglow have any snowmobile LEDs??

  • @crazyboondocker

You would be able to use any of our motorcycle kits to light up your snowmobile. We have had a ton of customers do this and they look great. We are actually looking for pictures of lit up snowmobiles so we use them for product shots. If you get a kit put it on and send me some high res pictures, I'll give you a little refund! If you have any questions email me at jason@ ledglow . com

  • @crazyboondocker

Head to LEDGlow.com to check out all of our kits.

  • would i be able to put these on a tomos moped?

  • @lillax015

As long as it is a 12 volt system you certainly would. Head over to LEDGlow.com to see all of our motorcycle lighting products.

  • @lillax015 im sure it would work. i put an led under my moped before i got a bike :p

  • @JacobSchmitt12

This will absolutely work for you, just needs to be powered by a 12v source.

  • LEDs and speakers lol its a bike not a nightclub.

  • @KINGCALLO

These are just not for show, they also provide an additional safety feature with incredible visibility when riding at night.

  • @ledglow Makes sense from a safety aspect.

  • @ledglow

i live in holland, and here it's forbidden, because of some laws that were made in the stone age.

Here they rather love to see that every biker should wear those rediclious reflecting banana yello vest over their clothes, so that we all look like road workers. Now how in earth can some extra lights hurt anyone? We are not in the 70's anymore with cars with a bullbar full of stadium lights who blind you when you don't wear a welding helmet.

  • @3DPeter

Sorry to hear that! Hopefully that will change soon!

  • @ledglow

i'm having a discussion right now on a police forum. Some policemen think it's okay and some don't,

but that ain't good enough for me, because i want that they change the law, just like with the 3th brake light that was forbidden once, while you get a fine if you don't have one these days.

  • I have a 1998 Honda CBR 600 f3 Smokin Joe race replica bike. If you look it up, you'll notice that it is purple plastics in the front with a yellow rim and yellow plastics in the back with a purple rim and has orange yellow flames from the vent near the front, ho do you recommend lighting this bike. I would like to light purple in the front, yellow in the back and something for the flames. Any ideas? I am planning on lighting my rims in the future as well.

  • @sn0b0ardcrazy

You can head to motorcycleledlights . com and build a custom kit that would be perfect for you. It allows you to choose custom colors and lengths, as well as a dual zone control box that would look awesome with the yellow and purple. If you have any questions shoot me an email at jason@ledglow.com.

  • I have a black 2011 cbr 250R and was looking at getting some led under glow. i still cant decide between green or dark blue. also i dont know weather to get a 6 8 or 10 piece. if you have any suggestions id very much appreciate it.

  • @rustyengine5893

Usually with sport bikes we suggest 8 or 10 piece. Either kit will give you plenty of strips to illuminate the fairings and under the bike. We have a customer gallery on our motorcycle lighting website that has some sport bikes on it so you can get a good idea of where to put them as well. Head to LEDGlow.com then the moto site!

  • @rustyengine5893 hey if u do end up getting led lights...can u do a vid on ur installation...i saw that u didnt have any vids posted so ur prob like me and just watch vids but i also have a cbr 250 and i just dont wana mess up installing the lights...lol...if not its no problem

  • @keybird143

The installation of our LED kits is pretty much the same across all bikes. You power the control box by running it to the battery, then connecting the harness, mounting the strips, and running the power wires from each strip to the harness that is connected to the control box. The hardest part is hiding the power wires. If you have specific installation questions you can also contact our Tech support department and they will be happy to help you.

  • Hey LEDGlow;

I have a red 2007 honda vtr250, just wonder how well you think it would look on this bike, and what colour you would recomend for a red bike.

    Also are these waterproof?

one last question, do they come with a fixed switch to mount on the bike, or would i be able to install my own?

    thanks!

  • @harvo22

I think red or white lights would look great on that bike, and yes the strips are completely waterproof. As for power and operation, every kit includes a slim control box and 4 button wireless remote. Connect the control box to your battery then run each strip power wire to the control box. If you have any other questions just ask!

  • i just got a blue 2010 kawasaki 250r(yes im a new rider) and someone told me to put blue lights on but i dont think its legal where i live, would white look good?

  • @mrspecialkman

I think white would look great. Our solid white color kits look very clean on a blue bike.

  • Hello LEDGlow. I own a red '98 VFR800. I'm busting my brain as to what color LED would go bed with an all red bike! What would be your opinion? Also, what kind of kit would you suggest?: 6pc? 8pc? -Andy

  • Andy,

Check your email, just got back to you.

  • Hi ledglow I just got my 8 piece single flexible lights I own a Kawasaki ninja650 2011 and I was just wondering if I have to take the fairings off to route the wires back to the battery?

  • @strycker650

You don't necessarily need to take the fairings off, but it may make your install easier. It all depends on how you are installing them. If you have specific installation questions you can contact our Technical Support Department at 1.877.LED.Glow and we would be more then happy to walk you through the process.

  • what color is that supposed to be? i hope its not blue because i just ordered a blue kit and those dont look that blue

  • @R0CKS0X

No it is not, this was a white kit

  • Great vid. I bought the kit and now i just need to buy the bike.... :/

  • Hey guys at ledglow. I installed your light kit on my 09 ninja zx-6r. They are awesome and I have installed about 4 more sets on my friends bike. Excellent product and all heads turn when we ride by.

  • @Allme244

That is awesome, thank you for the compliment! I would love to see some pictures so we can put them on our customer gallery page or you can also post them on our Facebook fan page, Motorcycle LED Lights. Take some pictures, and email them to jason@ledglow.com, and if we use them Ill give you a coupon code for your next purchase.

  • I just installed my 6 piece red ledglow on my red 2010 ninja 250r. I did it exactly by this video. At first it seemed like it was hard to do , but then while installing it; was much easier than what i thought. The remote control part is the best. I can turn the lights on and off anytime even from a distance

  • @bklynzbest777

That is awesome to hear, glad to hear you got them setup! MotorcycleLEDLights is our Facebook page like us and post some pictures!

  • Sweet setup i like

  • @RazFoley

Thanks! We do what we can!

  • I ABSOLUTELY LOVED my 6 piece kit on my 2008 Ninja 250r! Looks amazing! I wasn't particularly pleased with the tape, and it didn't perform well, but with the included screws, it's definitely held in a secure position! Thanks again LEDglow for a GREAT deal!

  • @Au5t1nH0uk117

I apologize about the tape, but I'm extremely happy to hear how much you love the kit! We would love to see some pictures! Visit our moto blog for my email address, and if your pictures are chosen for the site, I'll give you 15% off your next purchase!

  • I bought a 10 piece kit from ledglow and so far I love it thanks a lot !!!! The video really helps too. The problem is I have no idea where to put all ten stripes on my 2010 ninja 250r, any suggestions? Also I do not know if I should hook it up straight to the battery or to the back of the bike where there is a cable linked to the battery which is used to charge the battery over the winter.

  • @NumbNuts93

We are extremely happy you love the kit! When your done installing take some pictures, send them to me at jason@ledglow.com and we might use them for the customer gallery. If we do Ill hook you up with a 15% coupon code that you can use on your next purchase. As far as your installation questions you can hook them up directly to the battery or to that linked cable, which ever is easier for you. With strip placement that gets a little tougher.

  • @NumbNuts93

There are a couple places we recommend. Front forks, fairings, under your frame for under glow, you can put them anywhere as long as they are 6 inches away from a direct heat source. Thanks for the questions! If there is anything else i can do let me know!

  • hey you thank

  • @elmorenito211

No... Thank You. We truly appreciate all of our customers, and we produce these installation videos for you.

  • 9:09 that looks very nice but I think orange or red would look better on that colour bike.

  • do you need a battery to install it?

  • @JTJG94

This kit runs on a 12v system, so you can connect it directly to your bikes battery

  • bro how do you jack up the rear tail hayabusa? any idea?

  • mine has a white wire with it, whats that for?

  • @JlNGLEZ thats the antennae for your remote

  • @JlNGLEZ

The white wire is the antennae for the wireless remote

  • illegalin finland

  • I'm looking into getting LEDs in my bike so this brand looks interesting. But the video would be A LOT more convincing if there was a shot of it in the dark since none of the areas for this video were demonstrating the lights to their fullest.

  • Call me crazy, but wouldn't you want to test BEFORE completing reassembly?

Looks good! Nice instructional video. Always connect hot lead before ground upon reassembling.

  • Sick!!!

..are those some speakers in the front???!!!

  • Good video on the install. Could use a few more strips though
