  • so many begs comment on youtube videos

  • Kids this is dubstep. Not that Flux Pavilion shit that you call dubstep.

  • @Patrick3222 Go listen to Night Goes On by Flux Pavilion and tell me it's a bad song. Don't think it's possible. Plz don't get on here to hate just listennnnnnnnnnnn!

  • @thatsmybriefcase its a bad song

  • @thatsmybriefcase it's a fucking awful song mate. get your ears tested

  • @Bootstrap193 Will do, I'll head to the ear doctor tomorrow.

  • @thatsmybriefcase What a legendary comment, actually sitting here laughing out loud.

  • south london boroughs !

  • pismo beach

  • This has got a fucking great beat. Kinda felt myself bobbing along to it. This proves that you don't need 'DEM HARDCOAR DRAWPS" for it to be good dubstep.

  • no joke im listening and i can feel the bass in the air around me its crazy what a tune

  • Everyone who started making dubstep after 2005 is a hipster who wants to feed of the popularity of a music genre wich is a few steps away to becomming a mainstream genre. More and more people are starting to listen to dubstep, so the quality of the new producers will decline. Also people who think a dubstep ''needs'' a wobble sound should be shot in the ear.

  • @Aepicletsplayer you sound like the only hipster here tbh mate. read the first line of what you just said and see how you contradicted yourself there

  • @Bootstrap193 haha thank you, after i read that i was thinking did nobody else realize that it didn't make sense?

  • @Aepicletsplayer Oh shut up

  • Comment removed

  • @Aepicletsplayer 2005? That's a bit fucking early isn't it. If I was gonna write something as ignorant as that, I'd at least have said something a bit reasonable like 2009. By your reasoning, producers like Headhunter, 2562, TRG, Geiom, F, Joker, LV, Ramadanman, Pangaea, RSD, Zomby, Untold, Silkie & Quest are all just hipsters jumping on the bandwagon. Get real. You're right about the people who think dubstep needs a wobble though (or stupid random vocoder synths anyway).

  • @Aepicletsplayer I both disagree and agree with you. I know you're referencing Skrillex, and I hate him too, as he IS a hipster feeding off of a slightly underground genre, but most awesome artists started after 2005. Take Datsik, Excision, Ephixa, and actually, Skream, who started in 2006.

  • @Fugglor Skream started in 2006? Go back to school mate - you're like 3 years out. And the others you listed are seriously overrated. I already did a list of PROPER dubstep artists post 2005. Take notes. If you have any interest in dubstep, learn who the real heads in the scene are. It's like listing Black Eyed Peas, 50 Cent & Soulja Boy as some of the best hip-hop artists. Oh and dubstep is more than just a "slightly" underground genre, despite the amount of mainstream pap around now.

  • @automat3000 Actually, his first album was released in 2006. If you're gonna be pretentious at least know what you're talking about.

I know who the damn heads of the scene are. Digital Mystikz, Zed Bias, Kode9, Plastician and Distance were some of the first, and right now the most popular are Doctor P, Flux Pavilion, Benga, and I hate to say it but Skrillex.

No, dubstep is not more than slightly underground. Britney fucking Spears had it in that single she did, it's everywhere. Fucking hipster.

  • @Fugglor So Skream didn't "start" til he released an album? That doesn't even make sense. Espec. as 'dance' music is founded on vinyl. Music that's meant to be mixed by a DJ. Albums are for home listening. And how you can put Benga in the same sentence as Doctor P & Flux Pavilion is beyond me. And the only reason you don't think that dubstep is more than "slightly" underground is because I highly doubt you've heard of the majority of the artists I originally listed (all of them still producing).

  • @automat3000 What I thought you were saying was that Skream was post-2006, my mistake. I know he's been around since before 2003.

I put them in the same sentence because they're what's liked right now, I think Benga is a much better producer than either of them, but that doesn't mean they're not good.

You're right, I haven't heard of most of them, but I have now and am going to check them out. I'm an American, listened for two years, and I don't really club, so I don't know TOO much about it.

  • @Fugglor Okay bro. Be aware tho, if your just looking for heavy drops or robotic wobbles u mite be disappointed. If you want to be challenged by fresh, innovative sounds tho, the whole varied spectrum of dubstep pretty much has it all. You just have to keep an open mind and be prepard to hear different interpretations of a really versatile style. Some of it for the club, some of it for headphones. I recommend starting with Headhunter, Joker & Silkie and see how you go from there. Good luck mate.

  • @automat3000 SOULJA BOY ONE OF THE BEST OF HIP-HOP?

    Strongly disagree with that.

  • @05dabest So do I numbnuts. That was my point! If you somehow thought I was listing good hip-hop, were you like "Black Eyed Peas - Yes, 50 Cent - of course, Soulja Boy - NO WAY!". If I didn't spell it out - the other two are shit aswell. Re-read my comment. I was comparing it with the guy before listing Datsik & Excision as "awesome" dubstep.

  • @automat3000 K.

  • @automat3000 K.

  • @automat3000 K.

  • PASS DA RED STRIPE MON!

  • Does that record say box of dub? o.O I wanna find this box and open it so the world can finally hear good music being played by great artist such as Skream.

  • 7 bitches in da house

  • 7 idiots passed the blue stripe

  • OMG THE BASS WOW

  • fuck newstep lol

  • HOORAY DUBSTEP!!!

  • >Search for new dubstep >yeah.. >back to skream

  • @Korppu new dubstep like ramadanman, addison groove and kahn shits all over skream. Skream has got shit. at dmz he played a brrostep set.

  • @djredi2step

    what?

  • @Korppu truth

  • @djredi2step i wasn't there but i heard him and benga got a load of criticism over it. If you're gonna play play brostep anywhere, it's not DMZ really is it?

  • @djredi2step This is basically blasphemy to a dubstep icon. Skream's one of, imo, the pioneers of the genre. Listen to this track for starters. This is the real sound. And since when has Ramadanman been a new producer?

  • @jaydotuk no but he's producing new forward thinking stuff. each ep by him is genre defying. This can not be said for skream's latest output. good production but just the same as dozens of other producers. I have a lot of respect for him as a pioneer but his new stuff isn't particularly standing out and his dj sets are just wobbley shit.

  • @djredi2step come on, man..his 2010 release was really different from other dubstep-stuff coming out. he still has got the bass in his tunes and no one brings in better melodies in dubstep tracks than skream. I think skream's music is really something special

  • @djredi2step

skream can play brostep wherever hewants

who are you to insult him, even if he'll never see this comment, cause youre one random fat fuck

  • @TheFr1ch i thought i was because i'm fucking mashed

  • @TheFr1ch It's the 240p.

  • @TheFr1ch

    too much bass.

  • @RawJump no... just no. you can never ever have too much bass IMO

  • @rcbskim1216 You can, add too much bass it becomes distorted and sounds terrible, so you can have too much bass

  • There is love at first sight. Then there is love at first sound. That of course is what dubstep is.

  • Box of dub the most genius dubstep you can find.

  • Quoting my gf:

I'm getting a little nervous by your song

Like there's a monster underneath the sofa

that want's to eat my toes

    he's approaching

    he's getting closer and closer

and I know there's something not right

That's the feeling I get from this song

  • @he4dsh0t3 lol....i see a red never ending line in my head just dancing around in circles and doing all there movements that i cant even describe and drawing these wierd pictures telling me about my future i think, or maybe its just the lsd i took.

  • @he4dsh0t3 tell your GF to stop sniffing glue (Y)

  • @he4dsh0t3 you forgot to say how many tabs she dropped.

  • im getting real sick and tired of some of the new dubstep out and about.. its all about this shit

  • uncle is dropping this on saturday, shit will go mentle

  • You gotta love the damn snare drum!

  • Hoooooray beer!

  • @JonPMA93 Is it just Datsik and Excision that are real dubstep then? That's news to me.

  • @JonPMA93 so please do explain what this is if its not dubstep?!?!? you really need to broaden your mind man this is what dubstep is. this is how it all started with stuff such as this not that face raping filth that datsik and what not produce. dont get me wrong i love that shit to but you gotta recognize the real dubstep. oo and another thing the producer of this song is one of the producers that originated DUBSTEP. so do some research before you blap your chav shite

  • @ARTerialBleed hahaha sit down mate, its well funny how people go sick over one comment, the real music is 90s house music mate and its coming back, But yeah Skream is sick these days but this isnt even good in all fairness i dont even remember writing this so pipe down..

  • @JonPMA93 of course its real dubstep its got a garage drum beat and its stripped of midrange leaving just bass and drum. its definitely dubstep

  • @JonPMA93 I hope you're being sarcastic

  • @JonPMA93 Check yourself youngin. The sounds you're hearing were some of the innovating sounds for sub bass heavy Dubstep. This isn't a fuckin wobblefest, which I don't mind sometimes, this is a different side of Dubstep that you may not appreciate, but it's far from shit. I run a label so I need to be open to everything, and it sounds like you need to think about the same thing maybe ;)

  • dont hate if am a newbie, just no one ever told me, whats the red stripe??

  • @sk83rDr3w jamaican beer sold in uk too :P

  • Skream is what it's all about. Not feeling these new producers jumping on the bandwagon and pumping out "filth" and "wobble".. get the fuck out.

  • @manikth2 well said

  • @manikth2 hornz cru? snes dub? soundguy target? tru powwa?

i hear no wobbles. i think you're just looking at the KNOWN rusko songs, but w.e to each his own. I love step no matter sub or wobble. Just smoke a joint, kick back and vibe man.

  • @Conky845 I didn't mention rusko, he's not a new producer.

  • @manikth2 hahaha irony mate, skreams on of the major people spinning skrillex and other shitty filth producers now... he tainted DMZ with it all.. whats happened. :(

  • @manikth2 ironally skream now pumps out the most filth and wobble compared to original dmzsters.

  • HAHA!!!! even Skream knows its all about the red stripe inna the dance
