It's a brashness that Lego developed their products several times, so if you've had one of the old and simple looking things, they forced you to buy new and better looking one, cuz they are to stupid to develop them years before, just a question of marketing...

nice collection. i want to say that the mini-falcon is the one to really hang on to, but i could be wrong on that. i think people often forget about the minis. fortunately, my wife didn't and so they became great stocking stuffers.

anyway, keep up the good work. it's about time you splurged and got a centrepiece. were i to do it all over again, i'd snatch the old falcon and/or original republic transport ship. hm, actually, there're *a lot* of retired big pieces costing too much money....

Sweet collection! I collect aswell, but I started a bit late cause all that's left in the stores is shit. I'm from Sweden, maybe it is different where you come from. I have to buy expensive from auction sites. That sucks. But I found the Imperial Star Destroyer in a store in Östersund last week and I'm going to buy it tomorrow. =)
