Sorry I forgot how sensitive sabots are about the sink word-- some just like doing teaching capsize drills to new sailors with the optis with the airbags for the saftey and ease of our recovery! It makes the new kids feel abit more happy when thier boat does not go to the bottom.. cheers ! still most are not sabots and none are leeboard sabots.
I started in a sabot and upgraded to an opti. I am on the cyc racing team

There is one sabot and it's pretty nice but there are mostly optis.
