David Carradine makes no secret of the fact that he is fond of the odd joint so maby he was a bit high and thats why the song went on for over seven minutes. I never know when to stop talking or singing when i have had a few beers so i think maby my theory is correct, after all who is going to walk up to mr Kung Fu guy and tell him stop singing.

Edward Woodward was another good singer who released a few records and Cassius Clay released a great version of Stand By Me.

His voice suprised me though ! It's not bad, but a bit weak on the high notes.
