This is a fantastic video. Although It has been 32 years since I climbed into a pit as a frosh (Pull of 1977; 3 hrs, 51 min), I still feel the intensity. The draw to The Pull appears to be genetic as my son now prepares to do the same. I will be there in one weeks' time to see him do as I did, feel as I did, and hurt as I did. Its a hell of a bonus that he's Odd Year, too!
God I can't wait until I can get back on a rope next year. my coaches were right, it consumes you once its over.
