In the first phase of the battle if you use Devil Trigger Buster on Sanctus he will whisper softly "why not join my great plan...?" to which Nero replied (Note: Nero will say this during the first wo DT Busters on Sanctus or half of his health bar) "I'm not interested in your bullshit!"

In the second part, Sanctus will say "please spare my life" with Nero replying again " pray for your God's sake... you're gonna need it!"

here is a realy good tip ( when you grab him with that demon thing i forgot what it is called just lock on and button tap the shoot button so when you are grabing him for like 5 sec you can still shoot him with those sword things ) trust me it works and you get a little bit of extra damage out of it

I beat this game in human mode because I never played a dmc game and I found human very easy I am about to start devel hunter mode. While I played the game the first time I used the swordmaster specialization, should I switch specializations when I play it again or should I just keep training in swordmaster.

Here's a tip:when the Savior's fist is about to come down,you can use the devil bringer and Sanctus will come flying to you.

You know, when the Savior tries to flatten you, a well timed Buster will knock the stateues arm right back. This will force Sanctus to come out and land on the ground without his shield, where you can give him a well deserved knuckle sandwich.

I swear he is the easiest boss in the whole game till he starts to retreat like a pussy into the Savior and then come out to spam his fireballs. I dont feel like wasting my gold orbs either on this fuckface so I dont bother. I'd rather start the whole level over than waste my hard earned orbs.

I just lost to him a few mins ago like I did everything I'm about to do it again but I'm buying snatch2 first and taking of split cause it fucks me up sooooo much.

1. every time get sancust on the ground,attack with yamato for a little bit

2.for every time u get him on the ground get get yamato out and get him in the air (it will do some bonus damage) it will knock him down on the ground and keep pressing the x button if u play it on xbox 360 or if u play it on ps3 keep pressing the square button

Instead of doing the standard aerial combo, you should be using IR'ed Roulette Spins, they shatter his shield extremely fast.

Also never forget to pump out summoned swords when you Devil Buster someone.

In my opinion this boss is probably the easiest. All you really have to do is max out snatch and use devil trigger only for busters.

The hardest boss in my opinion is Dante. His rebellion's stinger pwns everyone, because it's ridiculously fast and unpredictible. Giving the Dante A.I. and four interchangeable styles doesn't really help either.

Most people just stand on the thing and using buster over and over again when they fight dante the second time, but that method is just "cheap". My method involves using max-act and split repeatedly. It's more challenging, but it's also more fun.

I lost to him the second time as well, but when I did beat him, all I did was wait till he was "about" the amount of health where he's "invincible" then I just slashed - snatch - repeat. Some how he didn't go into that mode where the goes crazy with the thrusts . But I also heard you can buster him when he runs as you with the sword (which looks like Sparda)
