@CTHULHUCALL I had the privilege of meeting a couple of the older bodybuilders back in the day and yes, most were much shorter in height than you would think! Arnold and Lou ferrigno were the tallest back then! It is a little humorous because in the magazines they appear to be so tall or at least to me they do! To see some of these guys in real life though is pretty great, their muscle density is really behond belief!!! :)

Genetics plays a huge part along with diet and hardwork over the years! A friend of mine met Lou Ferrigno during a promotional event with his company, and said how huge he was at 6'5 and weighing around 275! He said Lou was holding a can of soda or something and his hand was so big it concealed the entire can, hows that for genetics! His large bone structure is what supported those 23 inch arms!
