When I watch these episodes the same thing happen to me. Especially the sound of this cartoon brings back memories. At that time they used to show it in summer time when we had school break.
In Toronto, in the late 70s early 80s this used to be on at about 11 am on Saturday mornings. I loved how they combined tales of great literature (like Dumas, in this case)

Ah the sound yes that never left me
by the talented Mahana-corporation.
At the end they usually play some soft synthesizer which always got to me "sniff".

Funny thing happened hex watching this.
About 30 years ago or so i made a Volcano for a school project out of chicken wire and paper
mache.
I forgot all about it until now!!!!
Watching this brought my memory back to this.
