  • They look like burrowing owls. That is amazing!

  • Soooooooooooo Cuuuuuuuuuuute!!!!!!!! Owls are my favorite animal.

  • This was so cute!! I want an owl now!

  • Love this video. Just yesterday I had a screech owl at my bird bath...I was shocked because I got so close to him and he just sat there staring at me and then wen about bathing. We have built nesting boxes and had an owlet fledge last year! Love this!

  • What a nice video, I never see any owls where I am , you are so lucky, they were probably all from the same clutch.

  • Truly amazing.

  • They kinda look like little gremlins ♥

  • Are you interested in selling the owls?

    Very nice video !

  • I didn't know that owls visited bird baths. It's really cool that you have a whole family of them at your house.

  • Beautiful wee creatures. Do I see ear tufts there, or are they all completely round-headed, and what size are they? The look a bit like either saw-whet owls or pygmy owls, but then I'm from up on Vancouver Island so ........

  • those eyes... its funny and creepy at the same time

  • Pool party

  • WOOHOO

    POOL PARTY

  • There's just something so peaceful about this video!

  • Incredible!!!!

  • this is so amazing like :D

  • Great video! Thanks for sharing!

  • You officially have the best backyard EVER.

  • holy cow! amazin!

  • holy crap... I've never seen so many together at one time...

  • Wow... you are so very very lucky! AWESOME video too. I was so sure they'd fly away when they heard the dog's barking, but it didn't seem to disturb them at all. And what is even more amazing is that owls are very much nocturnal so seeing them in an urban setting in a group.... with urban sounds all around (dogs, children, traffic, a sprinkler going)..... truly a treat for us all.

One adult and 4 juveniles? These are screech owls, right? Thank you for sharing this rare sight.

  • These birds are more than awesome

if they did'nt existed our houses would be infested with mice and rats

  • I love how when they fly it's completely silent :)

  • Do any other birds visit your bird bath besides the owls?

  • i need to get a bird bath.

  • This is charming!

  • thats so cute you know awwwwwwwwww :)

  • wow!!! .... its amazing to see so many together.do they visit the bird bath often ? or was it a one off ?

  • @Racquellebk22 They bathed every night for about 6 weeks then they didn't come back. One would fly by for a few days, then he stopped coming back also.

  • I never knew they bathed!

  • very nice

  • awh elf owls right?!

  • Even playing in the water they looks like they are going to murder face out of pure owl rage.

  • They are so CUTE :) !

    Having a round-pool get-together.

  • @vulturedoors, you are 100% correct that these wonderful creatures are borrowing owls! sexy isn't it. I don't know whoch are the 3 ass holes who dis liked this video. thanks for sharing!

  • What a delight. A rare vision indeed.

  • AWWWWW! Lucky you~

  • sooooo freakin cute:)

  • WOW! This is awesome! I live in that area too and would love to walk outside and see this.

  • I'm from the dallas fort worth area and live in the suburbs so i have no idea why these owls would be chilling here. They also came back over the summer to chill so i guess they're year long friends ^_^

  • @Rainbowseverywhere - This is in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Near DFW airport.

  • @Rainbowseverywhere Burrowing owls are native - DFW's about the eastern edge of their territory. When I lived in Greenville I'd see them hanging out on the highway median once in a while :)

  • from like 1:09 to 1:12, the owl 2nd to the right is just GLARING at the camera, i love it when owls stare, so mystifying

  • Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

  • Are those fledglings with a parent out hunting?

  • Beautiful creatures.

  • You are so lucky to be able to view them like this. I'm from South Africa and I haven't seen one in the wild like this. They're not so common where I live or maybe they are but I certainly haven't seen them. It's the little things like these that make the human spirit happy. Thanks for sharing.

  • That is so cool! Owls are really uncommon where I live. I don't think I've ever seen one in the wild.

  • {O,O}

  • They are sooooooooo cute!

  • @soundwavs1961c they ARE so cute!!!

  • Why do dogs have to be so annoying? Tell them to be quiet! Cats rule and so do owls!

  • Wow, this is incredible!

  • fabulous! Rainbow, where are you located? Just love it..

  • How beautiful they are! Thanks for posting...

  • Fun video. Gives an idea of the night sounds in your neighborhood. Hmm, did that little barking dog sound a bit Scared? Better stay inside at night lil pooch.

  • They look so scared the whole time.

  • it sounds like you live out in the country somewhere. you must if you have baby owls in your bird bath! :) lucky.

  • ADORABLE!

    :43

  • Any idea as to what type of Owls these are?

  • Ahh, super cute! c:

  • I want to get in the water and splash around with them.

  • CUTE!

  • man ur lucky :p i love Owls

  • Geat job!

and 2:35 look at those talons.

  • I like how at about @1:30 they're all *super alert*, but all looking the same direction. *Nothing* is sneaking up on them! Unless, of course, it comes up from behind.

  • or unless its placed their hours before in this case.

  • O RLY

  • What a Hoot!!!

  • This appears to be four burrowing owls joined midway through by a screech owl. Notice how they don't like the new arrival very much.

    Neat video!

  • @strygid , I posit that they're all screeches, a fledged family unit. Juveniles don't show much horn, aye?

  • @JimmyJoeLard - You may be right. The first four owls have much longer legs than the fifth, which would indicate burrowing owl to me. Also note the threat (beak clacking) at 0:45. But now that I look at it again I'm not so sure, I see a hint of a horn and I think you're correct. Anyone else have a more positive ID?

  • @strygid - Sorry, 0:43

  • I think they are Screech Owls. They are beautiful thanks for sharing the vid.

  • very cool!

  • One of the better owl clips posted here.

  • Wonderful visitors.
