  • @chriskay021 I had the same problem at first. Kep is workout ur forarm. Barbell wrist curls is all I did. Your grip will get stronger aka let you lift more weight without straining ur forarm to grip

  • Deadlifts are the BEST for your back. He should really be doing deadlifts at the start of his workout, lifting heavy ensuring the best results for his back. And no, im not a skinny 8 stone person, I'm a personal trainer.

  • Thanks for the little tip on the lower back row. I always started off with the way you described in the beginning, and I think that really sometimes cost me my lower back row workout.

    Deadlifts are good, people, especially when you drop the weights completely DEAD and then pick them up. Personally, I think that stimulates your impacted muscles more than just barely touching the floor with the weights as shown in the video. Keep this up!!

I'm not downing his persona, I think he's awesome for promoting fitness and health. But this is not a back routine I'd use to get a huge back.

His form is perfectly fine, people do it worse by moving their whole body trying to keep up with heavy weights.   • i was wondering if someone could help me, i "think" the first exercise in the video, which is the HS lat pulldown, is what i have in my gym, it has the same movement and look put its only called a "pulldown" not a lat pulldown, and the exercise apparently works your chest and your triceps, is there a pulldown that works your chest or has the wrong picture stuck on the machine? if you type in google sterling pulldown on images its the first picture that is the machine, send me a message please!

  • think it's romanian deadlift... he should mention that and caution people to use light weights.... you dont do heavy deadlifts that way...

  • at 3 minutes your using your arms and not your back, the structure of ALL excerises when it comes to workout for the back you have to think about the structure your holding and what muscles your really working on.. It's really easy to be using the wrong muscles as soon as it gets tiredsome

  • first 2 exercises are basically the same...id do pullups or pulldowns with a wide grip with your elbows out to the side first

    Seated Cable Rows: 3 sets of 12 repetitions

    T-Bar Rows: 3 sets of 10 repetitions

    Bent Over Rows: 3 sets of 20 repetitions

    Lower Back Ext: 3 sets of 15 repetitions

  • Umm. It's seems like a good back workout, but i think it would be better if you'd have replaced some of these exercises with pullups and barbell/dumbell rows instead of three pulldown exercises. Pullups are the number 1 exercise for buildin wide lats.

  • i would retract the scapula before doing a rep and push the chest up as it prevents steeping and stops a bad upper chain patterning going into the traps and focuses the movement more in the lats.

  • 12-15 reps is the best in my opinion. More stamina, longer lasting muscle strenght, only thing is a little less explosive muscle strenght but who cares, better workout is better results!
