It looks like there is some sort of Regulator that lets oxygen in and CO2 out without letting water in. also, they are roped to shore, so if the balloon started deflating, they could pull it in.

@ketatrypt If you're too stupid to realize that putting 5 year old kids in a plastic bubble over the water is a bad idea, then there is no hope left for you. First of all, 5 year olds aren't very strong, and the plastic is apparently thick enough for it to hold their weight, so it wouldn't exactly be easy for them to rip through. Secondly, if there was a hole, it would sink like a stone, putting them is a state of panic with very little time to react.
