We did something similar to this 1978 and we used a Cox .049 gas powered Pinto Funny Car drag racer car (Testor's?) ran down a fishing line that we nailed (roofing nails) to the asphalt street in southern California. This solved the problem these guys had when the car hooked to the left. "Hi Todd, Hi Mark, Hi Rory"!

You gotta get the balance just right because its just disaster if you dont. I experimented the C6 rocket motor with my RC airship, plane , car i even made a rocket powered boat. Its pretty cool. But i lost quite a few machines. And i nearly killed my dad and my best mate. BUT AWESOME.

Maybe mount 2 A6-5 Rockets on either sides.

Also, make sure the outer bushings on the rear axles are GLUED. I mean use airplane cement or something REALLY strong.

Zap a gap is a strong glue. I use it for my RC planes.

The only problem is getting both rockets to ignite at the same time. Those electric igniters are a pest.

I loved testing this stuff out when i was younger. I really wish i could do it again but have to be mature now.
