  • Great to see so many anti-war conservatives. Fuck obama, this guy gets my vote.

  • On the issue of military bases, many countries want us out anyway. We should get out. Let them settle their own problems and defend themselves.

  • I love the example he used of Eugene V. Debs. Even though Debs was a socialist, no one should EVER be jailed for dissent. Libertarians understand that.

  • did someone scream "White Power" at 3:58???

  • @maroguy96

yes, i wonder if that will get replayed thousands of times, I doubt it.

  • @maroguy96 No he said something else

  • unfortunately, yes.

  • @maroguy96 i coulda swore but i could be something else the sound seems distant.

    Go Ron Paul!

  • Thank you so much for posting this. Did my sad heart some real good...

  • Spreading messages of freedom and lighting fires in the hearts of all Americans is my pleasure, jeanniedean.

Thanks for bumping this profound speech to a partially receptive audience to others. = )

God bless all those who sacrifice so much for freedom at all levels of politics and government. If not for our generation, we do it for future generations.

  • It could be argued that extreme individualism has created alot of America's problems. What about the community....individual liberty isn't everything...that's a cowboy mentality...doesn't that cowboy want to settle down and have a homestead. Neighbours can become awfully important in that....and as they go through the droughts and winters...they will find the benefits of the community. Both are important principles for a healthy society.

  • True. No man is an island, yet those living without economic/personal liberty are without means to defend freedoms and pursue their "happiness," which most community members desire.

  • You should re-consider treating people who think like robyngravess22 with kid gloves. A person who enables the philosophic mitigation of individualism is no friend of Liberty.

  • That is true. But if you look at the world...I think you will find that the people who have the most personal liberty are also those who have the most invested in the collective good...and they have high taxes...which pay for good public services that they support. Rather than be afraid of the international community....I recommend trying to be one member of it...rather than a dominating force in it.

  • Our countries will never know enough about the religious-based cultures to alter them for the better. Your freedom of being taxed into bliss is not the same as our freedom of keeping the fruits of our labor to prosper and defend our liberty.

The American solemn oath promises to discharge protection of foreign-and-domestic enemies to liberty as a 'duty' of competent elected representatives...of / by / for the People who love God and the unalienable rights bestowed upon them by Him.

  • Is it "extreme" to formulate your own ideas about the meaning and purpose of your own life, and to follow those dreams? Is it "extreme" to afford others the courtesy to do the same? "Individualism" and "Freedom" mean freedom from COERCION, not absence of mutual consent and cooperation. Individual Liberty is the very GOAL of America, not the source of ANY "problem".

  • He is from Germany....He doesn't understand what you are trying to tell him....
