I think a lawsuit is comepletely in order if Nowell's family own the rights to all his intellectual property. I also think that Sublime without Brad Nowell is tacky at best, not to mention irreverent of Brad's primary role in the band. Sublime without Brad is like Soundgarden without Chris Cornell. I think Pink Floyd is the only band who gets away with it because Roger left the band for spite. Brad died, an overdose on a relapse. Its sad but i say Sublime died with him. Get another name.

He even said it in a video on Youtube that his friend came up with the name. His friend also took care of Lou after Brads death. So I was one of those that grew up around Long Beach during Sublimes local Reign and the music ment so much to us party kids. I am curently in a few bands and I know that I got interested in singing because of Brad and interested in playing bass because of Eric. What is taking place here is unfortunate because the ART is lost within the coruption. Brad was a great loss, Eric and Bud going on is awasome. Since he is gone, Bud and Eric have had several side projects including LBDA which reached a certain amount of success, but nothing that compared to that of sublime's.
