I rather like these videos. Narration is unnecessary. As the idea is to already have the steps memorized from your nursing info, and be taking this in, while entirely reciting the steps mentally. To watch for detail, and intention behind each movement she makes to keep fields steril. So the speed is appropriate.
If you have a cough, you should wear a mask when changing a wound. If patient has cough, they should wear mask, especially if blood cultures or PICC dressing change were being done. There are opposing views about wether sterile dressing supplies should be opened "before" removing the old dressings to decrease the time of wound exposure to the air, or open sterile supplies "after" remoming the old dressing to decrease the possilbity of contaminating sterile supplies.
