I prefer hardcover to paperbacks too. They are bigger and survive traveling with me everywhere. I'm also really anal about all of a books in a series being all paperbacks or all hardcovers. They can't be a mix or I am sad. Is anyone else do that too?
Like with Harry Potter, I didn't have Sorceror's Stone for a while, so when my dad got one hardback and one paperback copy of it, I took the harback and left the paperback for my brother.
There was no way my series was going to be such an abbhorent mixture. ;-)

Great intro
I like the hard backiness as well! I can't wait to see your first book review.

Nice to meet you. You have plenty of time to start a book collection no need to rush.
