  • I understand that in the end the father confesses and surrenders to the police for having killed the man who was with herdaughter and did not want to say goodbye to her for not having to deal with it, and so that she would not know what he had done and also that he knew what she had been doing ...

  • is that the girl from girl by girl movie?

  • So touchy movie with the saddest final I've ever seen.Poor girl left lonely by dad

  • "but the final"?! Seriously?! It was wonderful!

  • it's very, very good film, but all other kim ki duk's films are better than this.

  • omg i think her friend possed her or something...... a little creepy.

  • "great movie but the final .... "

is beautiful. You have seen many video where the person was to slow to catch somebody, but this type is very creative and the perfect ending for this film.

  • What is the name of this song?please somebody help me.

  • Whats the name of the song that her father uses to wake her up?

  • Erik Satie - Gymnopedie no.1

  • I like this movie very much, it has strange melancholic mood

  • Je l'ai acheté il y a 3 mois environ et l'ai regardé hier soir, tout seul, au casque en vo sous titré... Il est vraiment très intéressant et on se surprend à ressentir les douleurs diverses... Du très bon film !

  • can someone upload this movie ? PLEASE

  • This is my favorite KK Duk film - and i've seen all dozen of 'em. It's about a very young foolish girl who goes into prostitution (no nudity or sex scenes) but dies fleeing the police. Her more innocent friend decides to honour her by filling her shoes. ... and when her widower father learns the truth, a very dramatic reconciliation ensues. No spoilers here, the beauty is in the journey. The last scene is so damn beautiful with a little help from Satie's "gymnopedie 1"

  • I agree. This is his best movie. Second is "bin jip", thid is "dream". I also liked "shigan" and "spring..." , but i didn't really like "breath" and "the isle", and really I hated "the bow". the latter was just horrible.

  • @sammythangerules

i don't agree. all the movies you listed are better than this.

  • truly amazing film, beautifully made with a lot of dark themes. kim ki-duk is a powerhouse film maker

  • the film is excellent and convicting, yet also provoking and partly disturbing

    but absolutely recommendable!

  • Can this be uploaded anywhere

  • why don't you just buy it

  • Because I dont have the money and two I havent seen it so I dont know if it would like it. Movies can be expensive and I dont want to buy a movie I am not going to like.

  • What is it about exactly?

  • I don't think you can ever go wrong buying a Kim Ki-Duk movie. His movie for sure are not happy ones. He gives little sympathy to his characters, all of whom are located in the lowest levels of society. The way he story tells is very masterful, of all the korean directors of his time, I would say he has been most efficient to not disappoint me. Likewise this movie, and (ALMOST ALL OS HIS other films) are all favorites of mine, which i almost own all.

  • But i would not recommend you to buy this movie. If any, research his other movies, first, the ones i would recommend for you to watch first just as a preview to understand his movie style would have to be, "Time" "3-Iron" "Bad Guy" "The Isle" then this one...and trust me you will need to be prepared to watch them...

  • lol i dont really have the money to buy them anyways but I do plan on watching them thanks for the advice. But I would love to watch his movies they sound great

  • This is definitely his best movie, and I have seen all of them ^^

  • @Bee1Vang

his films are the only ones i don't need to be prepared to watch them. i can't watch almost any other movie.

  • There are a lot of subtlties in the movie, but I don't think it's weak, persay.
