Beautiful Tank.... I would not mind swapping my blue 244 for this one, although mine has been totally overhauled and beautified. Runs great too. Trunk ding is due to something that already sat in the trunk (mine got a similar ding due to a couple of old PC monitors tumbling over. Knocking steering is not too much of a worry... dried up and cracked rubber mounts of about US$ 40 each (IPD). Best of luck selling! Overseas customers may be the best prospects.
@stonerumble WOW thats Kool THANK YOU for the info i read through it for 10 mins or so and bookmarked it ALOT of good info. I still want to figure out just how many Red... like was it 50 a year or just 50 in this year i was told 50 in just This year but cant back it up anywhere. Thanks again Make sure and Subscribe.... Oh yea and check out the 76 262 coupe i have on my channel WOW..;-)
@CerealMarshmallows no probs. what's the colour code for this car? (see the plate in the engine room) the car looks really nice i agree. how many they made per year in that specific colour i don't have a clue sorry. I had back in -07 a red 242 -84 in euro spec. and the colour code was 173-2. they're getting very rare here in sweden and expensive. germans and dutchman are crazyabout them and are ofyen willing to pay good for a car in good condition. cheers ;)
Nice if that was in my country Australia it would have a nice small block v8 conversion done to it. And with it look like it originally look like it had the V8 fitted from the factory. :)
thats my car!!!:)

Man, the only thing missing is a turbo. I love those early 80's 242 and 245 Volvos.
