  • my god the pictures of him as a teenager/ young man looks nothing like him

  • great interviews but poorly made...what a boring documentary... too much video that has little to do with Freddy :/

  • Its interesting that Freddy speaks with a very upper class english accent, whereas the rest of his family appear not to.....

  • @68deluxe well he spent moretime in england studying and the others in queen also had it and so it may have rubed off and his sister had a slight but nearly as obvious

  • I'm having a hard time understand John Baptist Da Silva's point, can someone help me?

  • Queen/ Freddie Mercury = The best musical act of All Time EVER!

  • This is one of the best documentaries I've ever beginned to watch. I KNOW it's gonna be good. Not boring at all.

Thank you Freddie, I owe you alot. Love you.

  • A adore the piano version of "you take my breath away" playing in the hospital scene. It's just to beutifull.

  • This is very interesting - I didnt know he was born in Africa

  • God needed a singer to join him, and jimi hendrix and cliff burton in heaven

  • i cried. no. not cried. bawled. whole way through. it's been going on 19 years and i still feel like it was just yesterday. i was 2 when he passed away, and it hurts now more than it ever has. thank you for posting this video.

  • My all time hero, if there's one person if i could call back from heaven it would definately be him! Not only for his music but also for his humor his kindness and loyalty! We miss you Merlina!

  • he was just too good for us humans.....one in a billion and i can say without any doubt that Freddie Mercury has been the greatest frontman to ever grace this earth...a true human God.......a creature directly sent for us by the creator of the universe....

  • You took the words from my mouth I think exactly the same! He was the one and only angel in the world. He was just too good for us so God took him back and now he's playing piano and singing songs for him. :) He was just perfection on two legs and words can just not describe enough how perfect he was. <3

  • I love this, and the classic Freddie vocal improv with the crowd at the beginning! Thanks so much! ;)

  • Thank you....This is SO beautiful and so sad, of course. God....it just makes me miss Freddie more & more. You'd think that this despair at his loss would subside, but No! It just gets worse!

FREDDIE, WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

I love how Freddie's mum refers to herself as "Freddie's Mummy!" How cute is that? God, you just want to hug her and thank her for the greatest gift the music world has ever had!

FREDDIE - THE GOD OF ROCK - !!!!!!!

  • of course!!!

  • @FREDDIEMANIAC Do you think his parents actually called him Freddie though? was that a nickname that everyone used including his parents? i wonder if they ever called him that or if they called him farrok whenever they spoke

  • @mydesigirl84 ....I do believe that his parents called him Freddie, because his friends at grade school began to call him that, & he wrote a lot of letters home, & I'm sure the transition began then. I'm sure Freddie made sure of it!

He set out to make a name for himself & early on, he just knew....he had so much confidence in himself. Freddie clearly carved out his own fate & the name change set that in motion.

  • @FREDDIEMANIAC wow thanks for all the info, i was going to ask about his relationship with his parents. you seem to know a lot. so he wrote home a lot, thats sweet. i always wondered whether he was close to his family.

do you also know what language he spoke to them in? are his family, and freddie, english speakers only or do they speak any other language. they did live in india after all...

  • @mydesigirl84....Sorry for the delay. I think Freddie was close w/ his family, visiting on Tuesdays when he was in town. He was very protective of them, so only divulging so much to them when he was so sick, so that the press would leave them alone.

And there isn't any indication of another language being spoken at home, other than English.

Happy Birthday, my dear, sweet Freddie!!! :)

  • @FREDDIEMANIAC Wow thanks for all the info, I like learning more about him. How do you know so much about this guy? I wish there was pics and more interviews about him and his family. i wanna learn everything about him.
