Your car sounds great. I just bought a 2009 White with Red/Black interior. I put Kooks 1 7/8 LT headers with the Kooks Y-pipe and Veraram intake with a Formato tune. My car made about 347 hp and 357 torque. What type of tune and dyno did you use? Have you done anything else to the car since then? When you tuned your car for this video did you have any mods installed at the time of the dyno? Sweet car thanks for the info.

at that time the car was tuned by hp tuners and it was a dyno jet..I made that power with catback intake and tune.. The car now has over 400 at the wheels..Its cammed also upgraded stall

i test drove one of these with 3 people total in the car and it STILL accelerated really hard

plus it looks GREAT, AND its practical with it having 4 doors

im a diehard mustang fan but after driving one of these, im not so sure anymore =]

the only real problem is you cant get the G8 GT's in manuals, only the GXP's

but it does come with trip tronics

its 345hp out of the factory, I would say thats a win.

its 367 lb ft of torque, thats a win as well.

The body of it is like a swedish bikini model, smooth beautiful lines very clean, thats a win there.

Now combine this all with the fact that it is the most powerful V8 on the american market that is under 30 grand.

conclusion is...G8gt ftw.

Stock is 361hp at the crank. Maybe 310 at the wheels? With the tune hes prolly pushing 390ish at the crank 345hp at the wheels.

Funny how people like this always talk crap about a car they know nothing about. The G8 GT isn't a "failed" car, in fact the Holden Commodor which the G8GT can from is a #1 selling car in Australia also a Vauxhall in Britian and a Chevy SS in Saudia Arabia! So to the OP I say Cool Car man and it sounds nice too. You should get a cam kit or supercharger in the future!
