As anyone who knew Raoul Moat will tell you he was one of the nicest blokes you could hope to meet. I work at the orphanage in Gateshead and Moaty was always turning up dressed as Santa and bringing presents for the kids, he was one of those guys who was only happy when he was helping someone. Last year when he donated a kidney to my granny we tried to give him some money to say thanks but Moaty wouldn't take it, said he was just glad to help.
