@lifeline1176 Alicia's role isn't to drill, its to command. Commanders shouldn't be armed with a rifle. If anything, it should be a saber. Look at the service drill teams and military academy's. None of their commanders uses a rifle. The only reason she has the rifle in the end it to complete their last segment.

i was in the kings guard this year...i must say that NGA has much more advanced and better moves. that said, their rifles weigh nothing, but the ones used in the kings guard weigh 10 pounds......and our drill was close to half an hour.....but by all means, both are very impressive

I just need to set a few things straight. Yes, an M1 Garand is heavier then a 1903-a3 Springfield...but by just a hair. A bladed 03 weigh 9lbs. An M1 only feels very heavy because of how it´s balanced. And the 03-a3 feels light for the same reson. An 03-a3 is easyer to drill with, but i do know drillers who can do all this and more with an M1 Garand.
@trond89 If you're on the Kings Guard, you just made the team look bad. First of all, KG's rifles aren't 10 pounds. 2nd, if anything, NGA's rifles weigh more because of the bayonet.
@trond89 You'll have to excuse me, I thought you were referring to the Kings Guard of Hawaii. The Norway Kings Guard's rifles don't weigh that much more at all. It's because of the balance that makes the 03's feel lighter.
NGA definately has the best execution of any team in their style arena. My personaly opinion is NGA is the equivalent of King's Guard in the service drill sytle. With that said I still prefer to watch the King's Guard for their energy, rythm, and flow. Personal preference I guess.

to me, military bearing looked just fine.
no rifle drops
they're also a civilian team
CHW is the instructor for the naval ceremonial drill team
i dont think they need too many comments stating that they need improvement
especially since i noticed you commented right after someone else who commented about them improving
having the same comments over and over again does not help improvement
