you can still 6 pool but you cant build a rax until a supply depot???? PROTOSS = ez mode gateway units plus void ray colosus is the only strategy in any situation and there is only one build there also no need to scout.. get rid of 4 gate

@Favre1013 Yeah as a Terran player I have had trouble with 2 gate , stargate pressure with just gateway units and a void or two but it really counters my build of early marauders, with conc shells xD

New patch being discussed has further NERF'd Reapers to death.

Reapers now require a supply depot to even get a barracks, then the speed boost requires a Factory to be built. Add that to Patch 1.1.1 of increasing build time, and decreasing damage done....blizzard has cut the balls off the Reaper unit.

Your shit. Reaper is ballanced. If you dont scout early you will loose to this but if you see that he isnt building any SCV and he is at lower SCV then you, you should build a bunker on ur mineral line, Or early stalker, Or 6 lings. You suck.

@pmtl3000 this strat doesnt work on 4player maps unless you're extremely lucky on the early scout.. but if you get spotted it may give it away.

on 1v1 maps its the most effective, mostly because you know where to proxy. some smaller 4player maps could work too.. but on maps like lost temple, kulas ravine or delta quad, it wont be nearly as effective.

on those maps you may want to opt for the bunker reaper rush instead, and getting a 2nd rax + better econ since you'll likely need a backup plan.

Yeah Iv done this rush several times in 1v1 and 2v2 gold and it has like a 25% sucess rate at best, then I useally get counterd.

@123JumpingJacks if you're using standard set up, press the A key and click where you want them to attack move to. If you are using the grid set up, it is instead the T key (look up the grid setup if you're interested, it standardises all hotkeys based on their position instead of their name)

@tricky314 Click your SCV, right click a spot on your screen to do 1 move, then hold down "shift" and keep right clicking, it'll create a path. Use this for alot of units, and buildings for example. Build a supply depot, hold down shift, "plan" another so that when your SCV is DONE building, he automatically goes and builds something else. Also works for making them go back to minerals after building buildings so you dont have to think about it. Great habits to get into.
