are you running that with an external resovoir. one thing i have found about the systems is they can be alward when doing water changes as heavy plants make removing the lids difficult. An external seperate water tank makes so much sense.

Will they remain in these til fully grown? If so dont they start to choke each other when more foliage develops as the holes arnt too far away from each other,i understand its enough room for the roots but when stems start growing branches etc and spread out is there really enough room there for 6 mature plants or do you transfer to a larger kit when needed???

actually they are really easy to flush each tank has a valve i just open the valve and use a shop vac to pull the water out. I hear what you are saying about the pvc but i just didn't want to spend more money most of the stuff came from my garage.
