I used to be mormon and when I was a kid I wasn't allowed to watch the simpsons because it was a "bad influence". Yeah, I would say its probably generally correct to say that an ex-mormon is an anti-mormon but than again I'm also an atheist so I'm pretty much anti-superstition in general. If your religion involves superstitions (the pretty much all do) then I'm against it. Being agnostic I say all religion is based on faulty biases, especially considering scientific evidence that proves that humans existed long before this supposed creation by a all knowing entity. I encourage you to read the New testament, all of it and compare it to the LDS teachings, that's what I'm doing at the moment - and so far I have only found that the Book of Mormon and the Bible walk hand in hand with each other - and the LDS teachings walks hand in hand with Christ's teachings. Maybe I am wrong, but I at least tried to examine it myself...

I used to be mormon and when I was a kid I wasn't allowed to watch the simpsons because it was a "bad influence". Yeah, I would say its probably generally correct to say that an ex-mormon is an anti-mormon but than again I'm also an atheist so I'm pretty much anti-superstition in general. If your religion involves superstitions (the pretty much all do) then I'm against it. Don't confuse that to mean I want to supress individual rights, I just tell people whats wrong with their beliefs.

Christianity is viewed as a abominable church who have taken 'plain and precious truth' from the bible. Verse 29 goes on to mention Satan has power over the church. Smith (history of church ch. 1 paragraph 18-19) asked about which church or 'sect' to join and god answered: their creeds are an abomination and their professors are corrupt. Correct?

During the time of Paul there where many people in the city of Galatia claiming that Christ was not Resurrected. Paul made it clear that the Gospel is Jesus Christ. The problem is that they are the only ones knocking on peoples doors. do you see Christians knocking on your door? no, they let you make your own choices. @gfscarface13 Do you Understand that the letter to Paul was written before John the Beloved saw the things that he wrote in the Book of Revelation. Do you also understand that the "Gospel" is one thing, The" Good News" which is Jesus Christ is resurrected. At the time of Paul many people in Galatia said that Christ was not resurrected. Paul was testifying boldly through his letter to the Galations that Christ was Resurrected. He is not condeming future revelation.
